I don't know about vacation, but my dream is to see the pyramids in Egypt.
Dream vacation would be a tropical island.

We're saving up to go to Italy for our 5th anniversary! We have enough frequent flyer miles to go but we're aiming to have enough for first class.
I have a hard time choosing between an extended cruise island-hopping in the Caribbean and a few weeks slowly ambling through the countryside in Tuscany, Italy.
Do I have to choose????? 
There are so many places I want to go! Bora Bora, Lake Atitlan in Guatemala and the Mayan ruins are at the top of my list. I would also like to see more of SE Asia, I've heard great things about Vietnam and Bali. I think Ireland would be really cool too.
I already had my dream vacation in Australia with my family a few years ago. I desperately want to go back, I also want to go to Europe and go to London, Paris and Italy.
I definitely had my dream vacation a few years back when I traveled Europe -- started in London, England and ended up in Greece! One of the places I haven't been though is New Zealand, and I'd loooove to go and visit Hobbitton!
I want to go volunteer/work with animals (lemurs!!) in Madagascar, then surf my way up the eastern coast of africa, then climb kilimanjaro, then explore the ngorongoro crater!!
I would love to go to Italy and spend some time travelling around the country. I'd love to see it all--especially my great-grandparents' hometown outside of Rome.
Take a year off and buy and open-ended ticket and travel the world with my FI. There are so muany countries I want to visit!

My dream vacation? A TRIP AROUND THE WORLD, and one that takes my time so I can enjoy my surroundings! Oh to dream!
There are SO many places I want to go, but my dream vacation would probably be a trip around Austrailia.
@ august15bride..My husband's aunt and uncle, who I also work with lived in Romainia for 5 yrs doing missionary work with children, and now go back every summer to run camps (He's there now). They also goes back at Christmas to hand out presentsa and actually own a condo becasue they are there so often. I wonder if you ever ran into them?
I've been planning a trip to Corsica since about 4 months into our relationship. It's a two week trip. We'd spend 1 week hiking half of the GR-20. Then 3 days on the beach. Then 4 days in Paris. Of course, now that I'm all injured and unable to hike it's on hold indefinitely...
I guess I can think of other dream vacations too. 3 weeks in Malaysia. 1 in Kuala Lumpur. 1 taking small boats to the beaches. And 1 in the rain forests. But Corsica is the one I've planned out the most.
But some more even longer ones have been lingering in the back of my mind: Safari in Africa followed by trek up Mt. Kilimanjaro. 6 months NOLS course in Patagonia. Denali National Park. Since I can't hike, this all makes me sad. Things I can do include the Marianas Trench Islands, Galapagos, Australia, New Zealand...I've travelled a lot but still barely scratched the surface.
@bree: That's awesome! I was mostly in Targu Mures and I have worked with Buckner and Children to Love. Any idea where they were?
Mine is Atlantis in the Bahamas. I've always wanted to go there because they have so much to do!
Seychelles Islands off the East Coast of Africa + Safaris through the mainland... it would be AMAZING (but way out of my current budget... *sigh*).
It is a tie between South Africa and backpacking through Europe! Le sigh.... I wish I had a whole year off just to travel. I truly regret not backpacking during college or doing study abroad.

My fiance and I are going to St. Thomas for our honeymoon because we wanted to just RELAX after our wedding.
My dream vacation though? I would love to take my fiance to Romania - where I spent a summer volunteering in orphanages. It's such a part of me - I'd love to share it with him!
