Wrapped - mini snickers
In general - Caramel apples are my all time favourite treat.
We're getting married the day before Halloween and we are doing our candy buffet as a "trick-or-treat" thing. I love Halloween candy/treats in general, so.... i'm everything too.
You could do mud pie!! And have it look like a plant. This pic was from some magazine probably martha s.
Caramel apples would be perfect!! And you could also do rice crispy treats in the shape of bats, pumpkins, or ghosts.
Candy corn is one of my favorite halloween candies!
Pumpkin shaped reeses! Call me crazy but reeses are my all-time fav and I have a ranking system for which shapes taste best heh.
(for the record: egg > pumpkin > christmas tree > big cup > minis > regular lol)
@CorgiTales: The eggs are @ the end of the list?! No way! lol. I love the eggs & the pumpkin. I also love Snickers :)
Anyway, I love the idea of the rice krispy treats. Another thing, I don't know how huge this is w/ other people, but I always see popcorn balls during Halloween. Caramel apples are always great!
I like anything gummi or fruity. No chocolate
- gummi bears/worms, strawberries, etc. (MY ABSOLUTE FAV,)
- starbursts
- skittles
- jolly ranchers
- nerds
- sour patch kids
Hmmm I have to say that I love Candy Corn (which is a must have for a candy buffet for a halloween wedding!) and any kind of chocolate, like the mini wrapped chocolate bars! :)
@miss.skinner: your list just made me drool a little on my computer...
I also love mounds bars.
Peanut Butter Cups, Harvest Mix (candy corn flavor but in the shapes of pumpkins, leaves, etc,) KitKats, Licorice Allsorts, Candy Apples and Caramel Apples. If you want to do some DIY, I made these Pie Pops as a favor for a fall themed bridal shower last year and they came out so well: http://www.bakerella.com/easy-as-pie/
Ooh, just saw these too!: http://www.bakerella.com/pumpkin-pie-bites/
I LOVE the little Reese's cups. But better than the big ones....
Corgi, I'm a reeses expert and your peanut butter cup hierarchy is flawless.
@MarzipanMrs.: I made some of those pumpkin pie bites last fall for Thanksgiving... I dont remember them turning out so well. Its the only bakerella recipe I've tried that didnt turn out delicious. Those little pie pops are TOO cute.
Reese Pumpkins is #1!!! You could always include candy corn, I'm not a fan but it is definitely a staple. Just be sure to have a spoon to serve it.
Mini heathbars, anything reeses, blowpops and mini hershey bars!
@CorgiTales: Hahaha!!!! I thought I was the only one with the ranking system! I agree completely!
@MarzipanMrs.: I made pie on a stick! You could do pumpkin!! It's really easy and they are SOOOO much fun!!
Brownie or cheesecake pops are also easy - just make the brownie or cheesecake, form into a ball, dip in chocolate, decorate and cool! They look and taste great!
Reese's peanut butter cups (the small ones taste so much better than the regular size since the flavors are more proportionate)
Kit Kat
Twix
Caramel apples
Hersheys 5th Avenue candybar nothing else like it in the world!
I am eating one right now typing with one hand because the other one is covered in delicious milk chhocolate!
Mini Milky Way dark!!
I also love M & M's, Twix and Almond Joy minis. Gummy worms would be awesome!
Milky Ways, Swedish Fish, Almond Joys, Peanut M&Ms , Twix, Reeses.... Basically everything but candy corn and little lolly-pops :)
Reese's & Brachs Mellowcreme Pumpkins are my favorites and I love fun lollipops too!
Oh, I wish we celebrated Halloween like you guys do. All those treaties are giving me the munchies. Jealllllous.
Halloween is my all time favorite holiday!! I'm a little envious of your wedding date!! Maybe some candy corn flavored taffy. This covers the whole wrapped issue, but I also feel like candy corn is a must when it comes to halloween candy! Pretty much any candy you choose will be great for the kids and anyone with a sweet tooth like myself. I think the only thing you need to keep in mind is the cuteness of the candy, you know some that tie into your theme, which I assume will have something to do with Halloween, sense that's your date?
Hahahaha, when I was at the grocery store earlier this afternoon, the manager was walking around asking customers if they wanted sampes of candy corn. I didn't want to look too greedy so I said no.......I'm regretting that choice now, lol. I want some candy!!!!!
Me: Pixie Sticks and little Crunch bars. Mmmmm
BF (he likes to participate on the Bee): M&Ms, Mounds and Candy Corn and all the above!
Reese's Pumpkins!
I also like carmel apples.
Heck, I like anything sugary or chocolate!!!

While I am generally not into candy buffets, there is a part of me that wants one just because our wedding will be on Halloween, and we will have several kids in attendance (as well as adults who love it too) and don't want them to skip out on trick or treating.
What is your favorite Halloween candy, preferably wrapped? Also, are there other treats you would include in addition such as caramel apples, baked goods, etc?
