HALLOWEEN!
My family has always been big celebrators of Halloween and we would have a party at my grandmother's every year and then go trick or treating. I love horror movies and all of the spooky stuff that goes along with Halloween. I love making my costume and dressing up. It's my favorite holiday of the year :o)
Hehe, I posted this up a week or two ago and I realized there are too many holidays/special occasions for a poll!
I'm going to say Christmas. I love seeing family, the spirt of giving, beautiful glass ornaments, the smell of Christmas trees, twinkling Christmas lights, pointsettas, decorations, I love it all!!
Ooh, I didn't even see that hcritton. Or maybe I did and forgot? I don't know! haha, everybody can share again if they want.
Meh, it's good to repost fun stuff and I'm sure different people will respond. I'm sure it was posted before me too! I just thought it was funny because I spent forever trying to make a poll but I kept thinking of holidays, I finally said screw it and made it open-ended, LOL
I love Christmas. Actually, I just love Winter, in general. I love cold weather and snow!
My FI is a Thanksgiving fan though. Not that much into Christmas.
Christmas. I love snow. I love family. And I love how nice everyone is around Christmas time! Plus, all the lights are so pretty!!!
The 4th of July... because it's my birthday!! When I was a child, my parents told me that the fireworks were for me and I totally believed them for the longest time :)
The Christmas season runs a very close 2nd. I just love everything associated with Christmas - being with family, Christmas songs and Christmas movies, gift giving, Christmas Eve services, the 24 hour marathon of "A Christmas Story," etc...
Christmas for sure. All the beautiful holiday displays that go up are my favorite part of the season!
I love Christmas time. I love the cold weather and snow (as long as I don't have to drive too much in it) and I love all the houses decorated with lights and the Christmas movies and being with my family (although I have to work this Christmas so i won't be able to make it home this year). Christmas is great!
Mardi Gras!!! I love parades and partying!!! It's so much fun!!!
Christmas comes in a close second, but I honestly rather the time leading up to Christmas than the actual day. I love shopping for gifts, putting up decorations, Chrismtas music, baking cookies and all that jazz. Then Christmas Day comes and it goes pretty fast and it's all over.
Halloween. The costumes! The free candy! The spooky decor! What's not to like?
I like the winter holiday season. I'm not religious, so I try not to say Christmas, but I just like buying presents (and getting presents haha) and everyone just seems so much happier/nicer around this time of year. It's also the time when my whole family gets together for a party, and I live away from them now, so it's nice to see everyone all at once.

I was going to make a poll, but then I realized who knows how many different holidays people might love so... yea
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I love getting together with family and having that rocking meal (like my favorite foods ever). There's none of the pressure that Christmas brings. The only sad part is its dark history, but I try not to think about that. If Christmas was without the madness of finding gifts and hoping everyone lies them, I would probably choose that because decorating the tree, making goodies, drinking cider, ect is WAY fun too.
