    My sister/MOH is coming to town this weekend  - we're running in a race and putting together my STDs!  Yay!

    In an effort to appear cleaner than I really am, I'm doing my last minute cleaning routine.  I realized again how much I love Soft Scrub -- helps clean out that kitchen sink like buttah!

    What are your go-to cleaning products?

    Method all purpose cleaning spray. It doesn't smell like yucky cleaner and I can clean the whole house with the same bottle!

    Clorox Greenworks' is slightly less green than the other "green" cleaning products out there (Seventh Generation, etc), but it actually works.  Plus, it smells like heaven and wonderfulness!

    @Ex Libris

    Yeah, I know. Frown But. It's also cheaper than the other ones. Seventh Generation and alike are so much more expensive. I want to "better for the environment" but still frugal.

    I'm usually super eco-conscious, but I LOVE to clean with the purple fabuloso.  I think it smells so good.  I use it for everything!

    My fiance used Windex for EVERYTHING!  Apparently it's the only household cleaner that he needs.  I tease him that he's like that dad in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"

    Vinegar!!! (hydrogen peroxide is a close second)

    My husband thinks I'm a bit nuts because I add vinegar to everything - the laundry, dishwasher, clean counters, the floor, whatever.

    Hydrogen peroxide - any wine stain (with a little dish detergant), any cut you get, as a whitening aid.

    Actually I have to add that my homemade laundry detergent is my favorite household "cleaning" product!!!

    Doesn't get any more "green" than a bar of Ivory Soap, Borax and Washing Soda!

    And oh I make my own dishwasher detergent as well.

    @Gerbera - What do you make your dishwasher detergent out of?

    We've been making so much from scratch lately.....it saves a ton of money and foodwise it's also tastier.

    @bvig

    Just equal parts Baking Soda & Borax! Works great! Last time I made a huge Folgers can (the extra large size at wholesale clubs) that was almost a year ago and I still have a 1/4 can left. :)

    We buy a huge bag of baking soda from BJs/Sam's Club for a couple bucks. And a huge box of Borax is only a couple bucks which I also use for the laundry detergent.

    This is probably gross, but my favorite product is Method's Lil Bowl Blue. It smells minty :)

    @gerbera - sounds good!  So I had been having problems with my dishes looking a bit cloudy when I use powdered dish soaps (not homemade), the vinegar in the rinse seems to help with that, but you don't see the cloudiness on glasses with the borax/baking soda mix?

    @bvig,
    Surprisingly, I don't! :) The glasses I thought for sure would have water stains, cloudiness etc. I thought for sure the store detergents must have something to combat that, ya know? But my borax/baking soda concoctions bring out the glasses looking sparkly clean. No jet dry or anything either.

    Anyone have any suggestions for a good shower cleaner?  Even right after cleaning, our tub still looks dirty!

    Mr. Clean all purpose spray in lavender.  It cleans windows, mirrors, tubs, sinks, etc.  I love it.
