We are forgoing the traditional wedding cake (I made them for six years and can't stand the sight of them anymore), and are doing pies.
Our wedding is in October and we'd like to have 3 or 4 options for people. I'm trying to figure out now how much of each flavor I should order.
Your help is greatly appreciated!

I'm a huge fan of sour cherry pie and fresh peach pie...yum! I'm hungry for dessert now :o)
For me, coconut custard, pumpkin or cherry pie are my top favorites. I guess for your poll, I would go with pumpkin.
I would have to say Sweet Potatoe Pecan Pie is my ult favorite.
Apple Crumb Pie is up there but only if it's done right.
Cherry Pie is my favorite.
Followed closely by Strawberry Rhubarb.
I don't care for fruit/nut pies. I vote some kind of a chocolate / oreo / turtle pie!
I'd say pecan for sure! Mmmmmm pecan pie! Perhaps a merange pie would be good to consider too like lemon or chocolate?
If I vote does that mean I get a slice? I would say a fruit, chocolate, and sugar free option are the only rules I'd follow. Also, is anyone gluton intolerant? We too are doing a pie/dessert buffet and have included a rice crispy cake to help.

When I think of pies I want to eat in October, though, I think Pumpkin, apple, and pecan pie!
key lime, strawberry rhubarb & lemon meringue are super super super yummy, but apple pie is my absolute fav. YUM.
Lemon meringue!!!!!!! And it's so pretty. Plus peach pie. Then pecan.
pecan is my favorite! since it's in october, i feel like you need pumpkin and apple too!
Pumpkin and Pecan!! Im usually not that into fruit pies but I do like applie pie.
Sugar Creme! YUMMO!!! I also love my recipe for chocolate pecan bourbon pie....DROOL!

None. I actually can't even look at pie without gagging and I have to excuse myself from the table if it is served. I'm probably in the minority, lol.
I don't like sweet pies, but a savoury one like ham and cheese or beef and onion gets me excited!
Being that we live in the middle of apple orchard country, I’m going to have to go with an old fashioned apple pie. We like them so much that we’re actually giving mini apple pies as our wedding favors (goes along with our fall theme).
Oh boy. I love so many pies i dont know if I can pick a favorite!! Top choices would be apple, pumpkin or pecan.... all equally

In October, I love love love pumpkin. I usually only have it around the holidays - starting at Thanksgiving. By January, I'm over it, but by the Fall it just tastes so good again.
I'm not a big fan of the fruity pies. I prefer the creams - coconut, chocolate. However, I think apple or strawberry are fairly popular. Pecan is so good too - if it didn't have a bajillion calories - that's usually why I never grab a slice.
One of my favorite pies is Sour Cream and Raisin. Marie Callendars used to have this when I was a kid - maybe 20 years ago. I haven't seen it in years. I sometime wonder if I made it up because I can't find it anywhere. It was so yummy.
I love all pie. I was actually asking DH this when we were falling asleep last night!
Banana cream, lemon cream, coconut cream, pumpkin, apple, pecan! You name it.
Yumm Pie! This thread is making me hungry.... My favorite is tied at Pumpkin, Pecan and Strawberry-Rubarb. Again, yummm ^_^
