I used to live in Houston, I miss it sooo much!
Some of my faves (which I know my guy would enjoy too - he hasn't been down there yet) are Old Town Spring, it's so cute for walking around and poking about in the stores, Kemah Boardwalk is fun too and you can do Moody Gardens the same day as it's not too far.
We used to go to Houston Raceway Park on Friday nights to race (yes I'm a gearhead girl). Even if you're not racing, it's an adrenaline rush watching the super fast cars :)
Buffalo Bayou is a really pretty place to spend the day too, and I think you can rent canoes there.
My husband and I love going to shows at Miller Outdoor Theatre, and spending time at Discovery Green. We're also beer geeks, so a visit to the Spec's on Smith Street is lots of fun for us too.

We like to go take the dog for a walk at Memorial. Or we like to take the car for a spin to Galveston or the Woodlands and grab lunch or dinner
We are always off to different sporting events. Houston has so much sports to offer that there always seems to be at least one team playing. We also like to head out to the Sam Houston Race Park and bet on the horse races every now and again. During the summer they have concerts after the races on Saturdays and the concert tickets are always a good price.

What is your favorite thing to do in Houston as a couple?
Mr. FF and I are still new to the area and we love to try new things. We love the outdoors, adventures of any kind, cooking. Okay we are up for anything!
