I guess the colored shoes thing is trendy, but I absolutely LOVE them, so I'll be wearing them at my wedding.

last month i was in PNG for my own wedding and next month im in the US for a longtime online friends wedding, its a lightening fast 4 day trip but im super excited

I like the mismatched bridesmaids trend, even though I'm not really doing it myself.
I'm loving awesome weddings in general. The ones that you can tell people really put some time and effort into. Love the cool details, great decor, yummy food...
Dessert buffets! I'm not sure if it's really a trend, but it seems like a lot of people are doing them in one form or another, be it a candy bar, cookie bar, popcorn bar or an overall dessert bar with different kinds of cupcakes, pastries, cakes, etc.
I love, love, love dessert, so if I have more options besides cake (which I actually don't like), I'm in love :) Plus, I think it's a cool way to make your guests get up and mingle.

[we're having one], also mismatched BM's, love it, am doing it, can't wait to see what it looks like...also DIY...not doing a ton of this my self, but a fair portion will be MOB DIY, in fact I'm off to Michaels tonight to grab some stuff with her! Also, loving the lack of expectations in general - we are able to do this wedding our way - really personalized, and emotionally meaningful, and we are not worrying too much about how much stuff costs - the cheaper [or more free!] the better! I love getting a bargain, and making it look FABULOUS...

Hahaha, the more I read about the trends that bees love, the more I realize my wedding is more trendy than traditional.
My list of trends I plan to include: coloured shoes, cupcake cake, and mismatched BM dresses.
Mismatched bridesmaids and coloured shoes are my top two. Candy/smores buffet follow right behind that, and then it's country weddings and DIY weddings.
Oh, I forgot about colored shoes. LOVE THAT. And, bold, colorful jewelry. Explosive color over a white gown is so so appealing to me!
Colored shoes has to be my favorite trend right now! I actually jumped on the bandwagon and now I'm a two-shoe bride :) They just make for such fantastic photos that I get giddy every time I see colored shoes in pictures!

Colored shoes and mismatched dresses. I did the colored shoes thing and I kinda wish we'd gone the mismatched dresses route. My girls looked great, though, and everyone asked us how we managed to find a dress that looked good on all of them!
The whole "budget/practical/make your own traditions/do it your way" trend. I love that it's cool to re-imagine weddings and do whatever the heck you like whether or not that's what's typically done.
I also like that there's a niche in which it's cool not to spend too much money.
And short wedding dresses.

I have to say, I love, love, LOVE the emergence of DIY over the past few years. It's amazing to see how creative brides can be and how much money they can save!
I'm also enjoying birdcage veils -- so chic.
