The Luckiest by Ben Folds, it is very romantic, quite the tearjerker. I hope I don't cry.
@taranixon - I love that song! My husband made me a video of our wedding photos to music for our 1st anniversary, and he put that song on it. I was bawling!

"Just Breathe" Pearl Jam - heard it on the radio for the first time yesterday and got really excited!!! haha!
I'm yours by Jason Mraz. Dennis proposed while we were scuba diving and when we surfaced, this song was playing on the boat.
we are dancing to "Stuck in the middle with you" by Steelers Wheel. I think its a really fun song for the first dance. I am trying to stay away from the sappy stuff, trying to avoid water works all together
So many great songs and others that I have not heard before. I have been spending so much time on youtube listening to them all! HA Yes I am really that dorky!
our fun "first dance" will be to "You Never Can Tell" by Chuck Berry (and dancing like Mia and Vincent from Pulp Fiction) as a joke! It's our favorite movie ever, and every time we watch it, we jump off the couch and dance like they do in the movie, so we have to!!
But our for real first dance song is "By Your Side" by Sade, and we'll "for real" dance to that after a minute or so of twisting to the Chuck Berry song! :-)
ours is Brad Paisley "i thought i loved you then" we foudn this song accidentally on pandora (iphone app) when we couldnt sleep one night and we always joked it would be the perfect wedding song...it's definitely worth listening to! go youtube it :)

we arent doing a first dance...it was part of our compromise...but the song i would do is "you are the love of my life" sammy kershaw, so i might use it for my walk down the aisle instead

"Is This Love"- Bob Marley. I've been completely and totally in love with the song since first hearing it. I think it will also set the mood for the evening :)

We were going to do "How Sweet It Is (To be love by you) by James Taylor until we tried to "practice" this weekend. It's basically a 2 beat song and we're finding it may be a bit difficult without us looking goofy. Soooo, I guess we are back at square one on this one! I'm loving these ideas though!!
We're using "500 Miles" by the Proclaimers. We never had a really mushy song feel like ours. one weekend we were driving back from someone else's wedding in upstate NY, and this song came on. We both started singing simulataneously at the top of our lungs. When we started thinking about our first dance song, we tried to recall any love songs that we connected to as a couple. We both chose this one. It's really fun and encapsulates the team spirit of our relationship.

Ok mine is kinda funny. It's from Disney's High School Musical 3, and I know it's like a kids movie, but the song makes me want to cry. My fiance and I, when we first started dating, wanted to do something fun together for the heck of it...so we took waltzing lessons. And this is the song we learned half a dance to. I love it so dearly.
