we're dancing to "Like Red On A Rose" by Alan Jackson. thats been our song since 2006 when he bought me the cd to make me feel better after i had all of my wisdom teeth taken out. now every time we hear the song we always call the other one. the first song we actually danced to the first time isn't exactly a happy song but it was totally random. we had been together for a few months and since i wasn't 21 yet i couldn't get into any of the bars or clubs or anything. we went out driving one night and he pulled over on the side of the highway next to the water. he left the radio on while we were standing there next to the car looking out at the water and when the first slow song came on he turned, grabbed me and started dancing. the song was baby blue by george straight and even though when you listen to the actual words its not a happy song it does make us smile because we remember the first time we ever danced together. looking back i guess its kinda fitting that he proposed to me on a beach next to the water. :)

2. "I'll Be" Edwin McCain (the acoustic version)
3. "Without you" Brooke Fraser (I haven't mentioned this one to FI yet. I love it, but I am not sure if he will)

We're doing Lucky in Love by Jason Mraz and Colbie Callait. Ok I forget how to spell her name. But it's very fitting for me, because I listened to her CD non-stop for at least a month after FI and I met! It's such a good love song CD!

I think our first song is going to be Bubbly by Cobie Collait, it always makes me smile and think of him. My son desparately wants to play his guitar at the wedding and has promised to learn the song. I have already asked the DJ to have the song also playing in the background just in case he gets nervous.

I have no idea yet although I really like "I will follow you into the dark" by death cab for cutie... but its a little morbid. :) I also love "broken road" by rascal flats, especially since FI and I both had just gotten out of very serious relationships when we met... but I feel like it would raise some eyebrows in our families. Meh... I dunno. I've got a year to figure it out.
