We went shopping together. I wanted him to get a linen suit but we picked a lightweight grey suit. He knew what colors he wanted his shirt and tie to be and selected those with some help from me as well as from the sales rep at the store.
I went with my FI to order his tux last weekend. He will be wearing a white with black pinstripe jacket, black shirt, black vest, black pants, a black tie with white pinstripe and lastly black and white patent shoes... I know it seems a bit much but it is one hot number! I only got to see the jacket on him so I cannot wait to see it all put together. I will post a picture soon!
He's going to wear his military uniform - so it's even easier for him than it already is for most guys!
FI and I discussed what he would wear before we went shopping. Since our wedding was less formal, during the day, and our wedding colors didn't go well with black, I had wanted the guys to wear something other than the standard black tux. We started to like the idea of a khaki suit for all the guys since we thought it went well with the brown tie we wanted them to wear. FI was on board with this but he wanted to be different and suggested they wear the khaki suits and he wear a black tux (???). I convinced him they didn't go together, so he got on board with a khaki suit with his own unique tie to make him stand out. :)
Kilt!!

All the GM will be wearing them too - including my 12 yr old brother, who is 'thrilled' to be wearing a skirt! ha ha ha
We're going with suit. I would prefer a tux, but FI needs a new suit anyway, and it's not a huge deal to me either way.
we picked out a morning suit, its a traditional English garb since he's Englliash with long coat tails, we chose a white waistcoat and white tie and pin striped pants-we chose it together he waited for me to come before picking it, aw; I wanted him to use a tophat to get a total English feel but I think I'm pushing it, he politely declined
his mum and sis are going to waer little hats or fascinators; oh so cute
My groom is wearing a light grey suit with a white shirt, no tie and his black and grey checked sneakers.
Originally I told him to pick whatever he wanted and not involve me, because I know he'll want to please me and didn't want to have too much influence. But then I ended up running my dress by him (via online picture) before purchasing it and he said it was only fair that I participate in choosing his outfit, too.
I didn't have an extensive amount of influence though. He knew he wanted grey. He was torn between two cuts and I weighed in on my favorite, which he chose. The shirt, lack of tie and shoe choices were his own.
A suit of some type...we think navy but not sure yet. Whatever he wants is fine. :)
we're not entirely sure yet, but it's between a grey suit or a black one.
A black suit for my FI. He wasn't at all interested in dealing with and paying for tux rentals and all the guys already had suits. Totally fine by me, I personally don't really like tuxes and thought they'd look a little too stuffy for the tone of our wedding.
My groom is going to be wearing a black dress shirt and black dress pants he already owns, and we're going to buy him a new (solid coloured) tie that goes with our colour scheme. It'll probably be either ivory or blue. He may or may not go bare-footed (I'm going to be in bare feet). =)
Our wedding is going to be an outdoor, sunset ceremony in a campground.

I'm visiting my Fi in 2 weeks he sent me some wedding sites for his wedding gear aw how sweet he wanted us to look together so we're going to decide when I get there, I thought the morning suits were very distinguished looking with waistcoats and ties, he's british so I said use something to reflect your culture, it'll be cool
what is your groom wearing, did you decide together?
