Oh man. I am a product junkie!! So i have a ton of HG-worthy foundations that I switch up depending on the coverage I need.

Daily wear (one of these)
– Bare Minerals
– Chanel Mat Lumiere powder

Need more coverage days (one of these)
– MAC Studio Tech
– Korres rose foundation
– MUFE HD foundation

What colour are your eyes/skin? I think the colour of the gel liner might impact how ‘bright’ your eyes get… or it’s application. I’m not really an eye makeup girl (I smudge on pencil liner sleepily in the AMs).

@al1988: I think that liquid liner stands out better than gel liner. I used Make-up Forever’s Aqua liquid liner for awhile but it just dried up too fast so I’m searching for a new one. I heard Bobbi Brown has a good gel liner (both my sisters have told me about it over and over again, I just haven’t bought it yet).

My HG of make-up is…

-MAC’s studio concealer in the little pot, I haven’t found any that works better

-Dior’s airbrush foundation

-Nar’s bronzer in Laguna.

-Bare Mineral’s blush in Fruity Cocktail

but those are when I spurge, like you I use colorstay a lot of the time.

MAC Fix+ spray is my one “can’t live without” product!  I also love Revlon Colorstay eyeliners… Other than that, I have a ton of products and like to use a little bit of everything!

I feel like I’m about to realize on my own any second and feel stupid that I wrote that.

Holy Grail I believe…

I loveeeee my mineral makeup and I also love the undereye concealer roller from Garnier. And, I have tried EVERY mascara…but the only one I love is the CLASSIC Volum’ Express from Maybelline. 🙂

Urban Decay 24/7 waterproof liquid eye liner! It stays on, it comes on smooth and easy, and it’s super dark! I love it!

Whoa, thanks! I wouldn’t have figgied that out on my own.

Bobbi Brown (the 2 different little pots style) undereye concealer is the only makeup I’ve ever been a brand slave to. Especially for how much it costs ($90… whoa!!!). I have INSANE undereye circles though and its the only thing that makes them completely disappear… I love it. I’ll never use anything else again. BB fo’ life!

I also love Benefit ‘badgal’ eyeliner… its big and smudgy. I usually use it first for a dark shadow-y look, then layer liquid eyeliner overtop for a big look. Or just mascara with smudged badgal for every day.

Also: I am obsessed with mascaras that have the ‘old school’ brushes… like real bristles, not plastic. I love huge eyelashes so the thicker and clumpier the mascara, the better. It seems like almost all drugstore makeup lines are phasing these out in favour of the rubber/plastic brushes that minimize clumps. I find they drastically limit the amount of mascara being applied and therefore don’t suit my big mascara obsession. Anyone have recommendations? Also, does anyone else hate the new brushes?

I need a 12-step program for makeup.  I got acne in the 6th grade and I’ve been obsessed with skincare and creating the look of clear, glowing skin ever since.  I’ve gone through everything and mineral makeup was nice, until I found Cle de Peau.  The powder foundation is every bit as easy as mmu, but is completely undetectable, stands-up to oiliness, and covers just enough to look naturally flawless.  I wouldn’t compare it to the full coverage of a heavier foundation, b/c the finish is so different.  The concealer is also the best I’ve ever used.

It’s stupidly expensive.  I hate to even say I spent the money on it, but after I tried the samples, not having to see acne scars, I decided it was worth it.

My other favorite, unique find is Laura Geller Baked Illusion eye shadow in Fresco Nude.  I use it as a highlighter and over blush (or alone as blush).

@bananejaune:  I’m with you on the brushes… it’s like they apply too thinly.  I saw Mally Beauty on QVC (?) with a new mascara that looked promising (big brush).  And Benefit has one I want to try… called They’re Real.

Did Bobbi Brown change their undereye formula?  I looked into buying it but so many reviews complained about the “new” version, I decided against it.

@bananejaune: Fusion Beauty’s Lash XL! It’s awesome for that! Sephora has a deal where you can try both their mascara and their lip plumper (which is amazing!) for $15. I find Maybelline’s Falsies line to be super clumpy, but in a not so great (for me) way.

As for my HG makeup, definitely my Urban Decay 24/7 Pencil in Zero, as well as pretty much anything from Fusion Beauty.

Edit: I almost forgot, Benefit’s BrowZing kit is AMAZING for eyebrows.

@jjmomma: @Aure: Thanks girls! I will definitely look into those. Since cover girl stopped making ‘fantastic lash’, I haven’t been able to find anything I love. To boot, I have stick straight eyelashes that I have to curl to high heavens, and any non-waterproof mascara seems to uncurl them before it dries. I’m willing to try anything at this point!

I’m not sure if Bobbi Brown changed the formula since I bought mine, but I got it about a year ago and I love it… so not sure if they changed it more recently than that. If it helps, when I went to buy it they made me sit and have a couple different shades done on each eye to see which colour matched the best… so I got to see if I liked the results before I decided to purchase. If you can find a BB counter that does that, I’d definitely recommend it so you can see for yourself. PS. although it was outrageously expensive, I’m not even halfway through my product after a full year… I think it’ll probably last me 3 years and I use it every. single. day.
