Our budget was over $3k but under $5k.  We already booked our flight/cruise for an 11-day Mediterranean cruise.

$5k or so because we just plan on going down south for our honeymoon. We plan on doing a “real” honeymoon to Europe later on though, which will cost us around $10k I’m sure.

our budget was $6k and I think the trip itself is about $4500.  So I imagine with tips and extras it’ll come out to be about $6k.

Our flight/hotel budget is 3k.  He wants to go to europe.  I want to go to egypt.  If we go with the europe route we will be able to fly for free so we will come in under 3k.

I think our honeymoon cost us around $5300.  It’s been a few years, but i’m pretty sure that was what we ended up paying.  We went to Sandals Royal Bahamian for 8 days and had a butler level room.  I think the price for that came around to $4500, plus around $800 for flights I think.

Way too much.  3 weeks in Europe attending two F1 races.  One of hubs’ pre-requisites for getting married was being able to afford a kick-ass honeymoon.

    Urg. More than 10K…

We spent two weeks in Switzerland and our budget was $12K. I’m pretty sure we went fairly over budget. It was worth it though because it was an awesome trip!

Eeeep – our flights are $3k alone!

We’re going to Disney World Florida (from the UK) and we’re flying Premium Economy

2 weeks at Disney is going to cost $3,800 for hotel and food, then another $4k for all the extras (Universal, Kennedy Space Centre, Party for the Senses, Couples massages, Dinner at Victoria & Alberts and then tips, taxis etc).

If we can push it, we’ll try and add on another 4 days on the Disney Dream cruise ship for an extra $2,400.

So a Grand Total of $13,200!! Omg! Hahaha

We’re having a Honeymoon gift registry so most of the activities are things that guest can buy for us.

However – we’re still having the cash to pay for this ourselves in case we don’t get lots of donations.

I have a ‘budget’ honeymoon list, though, which we can scale back to if necessary which is $5,500 (economy flights and just accommodation/food) but it would be great to do the whole thing.

This is all dependent on my parents paying for the wedding (we’re discussing budget with them in October) and us paying for the honeymoon. Should it be that we have to fund the wedding ourselves our entire honeymoon budget will go on the wedding and we’ll have no honeymoon. Which will be sad, but definitely not the worst outcome!

ETA: if my parents pay for the wedding, then the wedding will only come to around $27k so our honeymoon budget is MASSIVE when compared to that!

We’re going to Greece for 10 days, and the trip cost about $5,700 for our flights, hotels, and travel between locations.  That doesn’t include spending money or food or drinks while we’re there, so I voted $5k – $10k.
