Like that one detail that you CAN’T stop thinking about that dominates all other wedding obsessions? Mine changes often until I, the eve-indecisive one, makes up my mind. Currently, it’s my VEIL… specifically the length. I know I def want an ivory, cut edge drop veil, but the length is killing me!!!!!! What’s yours?

Ugh….I feel your pain. When we first got engaged it was the reception hall-I swear I had nightmares about every one of them! Then it turned to the photographer, shoes, dress and now I am onto the rehearsal dinner dress. I am sure it is going to flip to the STDs soon because FI’s cousin is going to be working on those soon for us. 🙂

I’m constantly flipping around. I was seriously STUCK on STD’s for about a month. I was in my nursing class sketching out layouts and wording for them, and even after all that, I forgot to include ‘formal invite to follow’ which has resulted in a few people asking if they’re suppose to reply to that or how are they suppose to RSVP and it didn’t say if they could bring a date?!?!?!?1

OH FUN! Mine is me wondering if I should stop wearing makeup and doing my hair in July so that when my wedding rolls around on the 21st of August, and I get my make up and hair done I’ll (and my FI!) will be like “whooooaaaa lookin’ good!”

For me, it was videographer for like 2 weeks straight until we finally found and booked one. My FI and I had initially decided not to get one until we saw Still Motion’s wedding films — they make movies!!! I seriously pulled an all-nighter the day I found them and went through every single wedding highlight film they posted on their Vimeo page. I saw this one couple’s wedding film for like 20times — literally! I don’t even know the couple — nor any of the couples SM filmed. So I was frantic about finding a videographer who had similar style of shooting/editing and affordable at the same time (Still Motion is based in Toronto and the starting investment for U.S. weddings is something like $12K, including travel costs — waaaaaay out of my budget). It took ages (or at least it felt like it) to find the right wedding cinematographers for us but we ended up finding one! So yeah, that got taken care of last weekend and I’m on a break until I find a new obsession…pretty soon.

our wedding website. our STD’s will be going out in about a month. we have a TON of out of town people (and out of state people) who are coming, so i’m trying to make sure the “travel information” is as up to date as possible. putting all the information on there may be making me slightly crazy.

mine is grosgrain ribbon, and can I find the perfect color in it, and where to get it at the best price – to make some ribbon wreaths. insane.

I think my current obsession is the exact date…my fiance is in the Army and so the date could change and we have changed it like 3 times already and I just want to pick a date and go for it!

Mine is the invitations, they took a little longer than expected (long story) & so now, I’m pulling long nights just to get them done so I can send them out asap. 🙂

Envelopes for invitations. Do I want white silver foil lined or grey/silver open end ones? I think open end ones cost more to mail but are so pretty! No one’s going to notice the envelopes so why am I torturing myself?

1) Getting our invitations printed. I’m giving up on the Yudu aspect since I realized I also would need to print menus, programs, welcome booklets and how many other miscellaneous items myself to match and I don’t really feel like spending the next three months cursing in front of my Yudu. Hear that DIY gods?! I’VE CAVED!!! So now I’m looking for a printer, and have my fingers crossed I have enough time to get some letterpress done!
2) Napkins. I just ordered them for the late night buffet and they’re so silly they make me giggle. I can hardly wait to get them.
