Inappropriate dressing for the occasion? A ”someone should have told me that decade is over” piece of clothing? .An ”I will prbably flash somebody by accident tonight but whatever” dress? An inexplicable color combination? You get the picture, spill.. 🙂 I know this is the most stylish bunch of girls, so the results will stay between us ( and the web lol)..
I once , as an intern. wore my pyjama top to work and had to keep my jacket on for peple not to find out ( the reason I did this is another story lol).. I also wore yoga pants on a planbe ( the jury is still out on that but yeah I call it a bad-taste decision ).

I don’t get the hate for yoga pants. They’re comfy. I wear them all the time when I’m ‘dressed down’.
When I was 13 I was a goth. I don’t think I need to elaborate more on that.

kittycatpancake: Lol, great answer..
I don’t think it is ”hate”. There is just an endless debate over when they are appropriate and ”good-taste”.

When I was a teenager, I really, truly believed that wearing a smaller size made you look smaller and I wish I had photos of this, but I don’t. I looked terrible, but I never could figure out why! I really needed a What Not To Wear intervention.

Nobody, but nobody, is going to tell me yoga pants aren’t appropriate plane attire.

sweetis: i went to the fashion institute of technology, and have some good friends who are high end designers/work for designers/ are in the industry so I think I’m qualified to say weigh in on fashion topics.
Wearring yoga pants and leggings on a plane is fine, I repeat fine. Unless you are extremely overweight in which case a nice pair of jeans or maxi skirt should be substituted. PJ bottoms and Raggy old sweatpants not so much. But unless you smell or are showing off camel toe or things people don’t want to see, no one cares what you wear on a plane. Paparazzi aren’t waiting for you when you get off. avid travelers know comfort is key!

I am girly now but at 12 or 13 I was into what we called in EU “fly girl” attire. So pretty much baggy everything, hair in knots, oversized beanies, dark lipstick and huge hoops.

FutureMrsHodgy: You’re so beautiful! LOL on the matching outfits hehe

I lived through the 80s. Need I say more?

Oh man, in college I wore the same dress to my Senior Formal that Kate Hudson wore in the movie How to Lose a Guy in 10 days. The yellow slinky dress made for someone with no curves or meat. I have lots of curves and meat so this was a BAD decision, lol. I still cringe thinking about it, thankfully I broke up with that boyfriend so the pictures are destroyed 🙂

Dickies, knee-high plaid socks and oversized hoodies were my dress of choice. Not to mention 3 FT long hair.
I’ve changed a little bit I guess. (See profile picture)

I had this sleeveless collared button up with some Aztec type design that I wore all the time. It was almost floor length with slits up each side to the waist.. I wish I had a photo of it now!
And I used to make neon tutus and wear them everywhere. And skirts over pants..
