In the last week there have been many post with pictures of weddings...and I've been wondering about something. What do all of you plan on doing with all your wedding stuff after the wedding?? I'm talking about centerpieces, vases, candles/holders, etc. or are you renting all of your stuff???
our centerpieces are low bowls that we'll definitely use again filled with lemons, with which we'll make plenty of lemonade with our new juicer! for the other bits, we'll give to our friends, post on craigslist or donate.
My dad has a sort of ebay/craigslist type thing at his national company, so he's planning to unload as much as he can that way. He's already had people inquiring about the fake cala's we're using in the centerpieces!
all the stuff we had left is sitting in my mothers basement....after I had originally planned on not letting the guests take home the centerpieces, I told my husband....he said "absolutely no way are we bringing that crap back into the house". So the guests ended up taking them home. Half of our candle holders were left at the venue. By that I mean probably 75 or so candleholders because we had candles everywhere.....oh well. What we have left is a mishmash of random items, not enough to sell as wedding items on any website.....so for now they sit. I will probably just drop them off at the salvation army or something.
