I LOVE Decleor products. They were made for sensitive skin…so I don’t know what type of skin you have…but they’ve been a lifesaver.

What I would do, is go splurge on a facial at a reputible spa, and have them suggest what you need to help your skin. Its worth it!

I’m a licensed esthetician, and products-wise, I can’t rave enough about:

Dermalogica
Glo

and for the non-pro products, Philosophy.

People tend to freak out when they see that a professional cleansing product runs about $35 – $75 a bottle, but trust me: it is worth it.  Not only are they filled with efficacious ingredients, but you use a pea-sized amount, and obtain far superior results than an over-the-counter drugstore product could provide.  One bottle of professional products goes a long, long way.

I totally commend you on the daily exercise and regular effort to drink plenty of water, though! My number one suggestion to everyone when formulating skincare routines is to start from the inside out – with regular exercise and tons of water.  I can’t tell clients enough how amazing water is for your skin, and how drinking the recommended amount every day is so beneficial.

So, aside from regular exercise and hydration, a weekly skincare routine would generally consist of a morning and evening Cleanse, Tone, & Moisturize (+ SPF in daytime), with two exfoliations throughout the week, and a treatment mask once during the week.

I just saw your post 🙂 I have a daily (morning & night time) routine, and my bf has taken on to copying me hehe

I use Clinique’s 3 step Acne line. I don’t have acne or break out all the time but I have ridiculously sensitive skin (99% of the brands of make up out there make me break out or get a rash!) and my bf has a bad history of acne. This formula is AMAZING. We both have such clear skin!

Every night:

1-I use the bar soap, he uses the foam (you get more for the same price with the bar version so better deal imo, lasts about 6+ months)

2-I use the clarifying lotion

Then every morning I do the same thing but I also use the lotion (3rd step)

Also, I take multi vits, b complex, vit A & vit E for my skin mainly and those help a lot!

I wash my face with Avene Clean-Ac cleanser- twice a day (morning and before bed)

After I wash my face I apply BIOSKINRejuvenation. I bought this from the Biocutis store and it helps get rid of hyperpigmentation due to acne and sun spots.

After I apply the BIOSKINRejuvenation, I apply an acne cream called BIOSKINForte also from the BioCutis store. This stuff is amazing.

Then 3 times a week i do an at home microdermabrasion using BIOSKINExfol. It comes in a jar and it’s basically the same thing as if you were getting it done at the dermatologist’s office.

I have been using these products since the beginning of this year. My face was breaking out like crazy. I was getting quarterly microdermabrasions done at my Dermatologist’s office, but it was starting to get expensive. So I went out on the web to look for an alternative and came across this website. All of the ingredients are natural and they do not irritate the skin, and believe me I’ve used everything under the sun- Retin-A, Proactiv, drugstore products- you name it! My skin has improved tremendously. My post acne scars have faded, and I hardly breakout. These products are expensive, but still cheaper than going to the dermatologist. They last for months and you don’t need to use a lot of it.  It was hard getting used to a new skin care regimen, and I had to discipline myself not to pick or squeeze my pimples.

I have had good results with Acne Free Severe.  It’s a cleansing system similar to Proactiv but you can get it at the drugstore (just saw it at CVS yesterday).  I was getting cystic acne on my cheeks and jawline and this has helped dramatically.  My face still isn’t spotless, but 10x better than it was a few weeks ago!

I use Philosophy’s Purity face wash morning and night to cleanse along w/ the Clarisonic Mia.  I also use Philosophy’s Help Me after washing my face in the morning and in the evening.  In the evening, I follow the Help Me with a Philosophy moisturizer (name is escaping me right now), and in the morning I follow the Help Me with an SPF moisturizer.  I have problems with acne and scarring.  My scarring has diminished, and I have less breakouts. I have not found anything to prevent me from getting acne at all, but this has helped alot in both areas.
