i want to incorporate this, but my color scheme is chocolate, ivory and gold. and my dress is light gold, peachy color. i was thinking about blue shoes. i have seen some wonderful dyed shoes, but won’t that just throw everything off?
my mom told me to just sew something blue (fabric inside of my dress like a swatch). i just don’t think that innovative enough.
so what’s your something blue? or you using this tradition?

I have Anniston too – in Ivory and my blue are my shoes! A really deep Navy blue 🙂

<—- My something blue is my shoes. They don’t match any of the colors in our wedding, but I love them and they are blue, so that is all that matters to me

My dress! Lol. 😀
Also, I think blue shoes would be fun with an ivory or light gold dress.

I had blue shoes too! I don’t think it matters if it goes with your colour scheme since (assuming your dress is floor length) you won’t even see them. My mother also gave me a blue hankerchief to wrap around the handle of my bouquet – very practical!

I was thinking about doing the blue heels but I wanted something a bit more personal…If I find a pair that I can’t live without then I might just have to go for it and buy an “after wedding” dress that will match 🙂

Mine is my mom’s emerald-cut sapphire ring set in platinum. I used to try to wear it when I was a little girl. Its my something old AND blue (cant be borrowed because she is re-sizing it for me to keep!)

I was racking my brain over what my something blue would be. Then one day I was going through my jewlry looking for I forget what when I came across this necklace that my grandmother gave me. It’s sterling silver and has a few little pearls scattered along and the middle has a tiny tiffany blue charm with a picture of the virgin mary carved inside. It’s my perfect something blue!

My main something blue is my underwear that one of my BMs got me for my bachelorette party (for the purpose being something blue) and then my garter also has a little blue ribbon sewn onto the inside! 🙂

My grandma gave me a beautiful vintage bridal clutch and inside of it is her something blue, which is a handkerchief for tears! Beautiful! Thanks Grandma:)

I had blue brooches on my bouquet, subtle, but I knew they were there!
