Everyone has their wedding absolute must have!  What did you decide is most important to you?

I feel like the fantastic dress can be had at any budget!  Unlike most people from what I hear, we kinda skimped on the photog and put more money into having lots of little details, and the food & decor just how we want it.  To be honest I didn't realize we were skimping on the photog, I thought $1500 was a lot to pay until I started seeing other wedding budgets!! :)

Venue is most important to me/FI. I want something that is fun and different and won't need a ton of decorating. :)

I voted for the venue just because we really wanted to be on the water and we found a gorgeous place that we all love that really gives us the vibe we are going for - seaside elegance I guess you could call it. Once I saw the place I fell in love with it. It wasn't ridiculously expensive to book either, although it was more than some others we looked at. It was totally "the one" though.

Photography is definitely the most important for us, but food & drink is right up there as well.

I just got an email from my dream photogs saying they are going to sit down and talk and see if they can work with us within our budget! Cool So excited. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Definitely the photographer for me. Since we are having a DW in Jamaica...a gorgeous venue wasn't a problem. I want to make sure that I have tons and tons of gorgeous photos to show my family when we return. Since we are using a local photographer in Jamaica, we have to trust that he is skilled. I must say I am kind of nervous about it.

I voted for the guest list - if I can't have the people I love with me (yes, that includes all my aunts/uncles/cousins) then it wouldn't  be right.  Of course the next priority is that everyone eats, drinks, and 'bees' merry until the wee small hours...  Can't wait...

ummm...you don't have "surviving my family" or "surviving the day" on your list...Alternatively, I would love to vote "marrying the person I love." Everything else is awesome, and definately in my top ten, but my sunshine is my #1, followed closely by surviving my family/the day. Having fun might be #3. Awesome pictures would be #4. Finding the dress which makes me look and feel 50lb lighter would be #5. I already have an amazing venue. I want good food, but I seriously don't care what that consists of (much to the annoyance of my FILs who are trying to help us find a caterer.) I would like everyone I want there there, but only a few of them are OH MY GOD YOU HAVE TO BE THERE OR I'LL CRY people. Good music is always good, but it doesn't take too much to make me happy (as long as rap/hip-hop are left out of the mix!)

Food food food.  I could sacrifice many other things for great food, that's the only thing I ever remember about other people's weddings.  Oh, and music/dancing, but that's sometimes out of a couple's control.

My Three Things were: Photography, dress and rings

His Three Things were: Guest enjoyment - which meant - open bar, good food and all invitees were invited with a guest!

So these were our "splurges within budget" and the rest we are trying to keep the costs down as much as possible!

Oooh, this was a hard one! I think what's most important is that it's a great party! But, I didn't think the music alone would be a indicator of that, I think it's a whole atmosphere thing so I voted for photography, because the only thing better than an awesome party is having amazing pictures to remember it by!

Our three big ticket items are food, music and photography! I really feel like people should have a great time at our wedding and we'll have the photos to remember it for years to come!

    Hands down, PHOTOGRAPER!

I honestly DONT remember food from weddings.  And guests who get drunk don't remember much, period :-)  At the end, the food is crumbs, the dress is shoved in a box in a closet or attic, flowers die and even if preserved don't retain the full beauty... Linens get returned, candles burn down... only one thing makes the memory last as vividly as when it occurred.  Photography.

ETA: not that I'll skimp on food because guests will remember a BAD meal. But it doesn't need to be the best of the best... if that makes sense.

I voted Music, but it was really hard to choose. Everything seems so important! And they kind of tie in together. I'll say the biggest/hardest decision I had to make was choosing the dress. The music was a very important decision since we really want people to enjoy thier night and dance. Food no one cares about, let's be honest - as long as there's enough of it and it isn't terrible! Photography no explanation needed very important so I easily could have voted for Photography.

The most important thing to me on my wedding day is that everything goes well. We are all happy and healthy, vendors show up and perform as promised. But the thing I remember most about weddings is how much fun I had and that usually has to do with the music.

    Photography.

I was suprised to see food up so high. The only wedding I've been to was our own, but everyone I'ver talked to said that they barely ever remember the food, abd the look and the feel of the event, and having fun in general is what they remember. So we put our second and third priorities into the venue and all the little details that made things fun for our guests.

We also served a good meal, and people said they loved the food. But yeah, we definitely got the cheapest food package we could. No one even noticed.

Photography for me too. Someone mentioned it being the only "tangible" thing left from the day - I agree! Plus with the new formats out there for albums, I know that it's going to be something that I look at often and will be worth the expense!

Our venue was our first priority.  We knew that we wanted to have our wedding there long before we got engaged.

That's a tough question. I would say photography followed close by venue. I really want wonderful pictures to remember the day by.
