Food/drink/venue are most important to my FI and I. I think guests should come first. If not, we wouldve eloped. Second was music. Third was photography Bc although it was important I still feel our guests need to be comfortable and appreciated above anything else.

@BruinBeeMPH:  Photography and videography were both our number ones as well.

After that I’m not really sure, I suppose the dress/rings, then venue, then food, then music then decor.

Your photography is what you take away from the day. Other than your memories (and your future spouse of course!), your photos and video are all you take with you from the wedding day. Even the dress…its only good for a day. 🙂

Food and the venue are most important for me. I’ve been to 1 wedding as a guest and that was what I remembered

@HappinessIsInDaisies:  Out of curiosity, where in Ireland are you getting married?

@aliciaspinnet:  In mayo. 🙂 Where is your ceremony?

@BruinBeeMPH:  I fell in love with the video idea after watching a few. Also we are writing our own vows and to me that is the most important part of our day. So I really wanted those words captured. Another deciding factor was because we are getting married in his country, i have a lot of friends and family who can’t be there. At least them being able to see the video will let them feel somewhat included. 🙂

I wish I could vote for two. Photography, for good record keeping of the day, and my dress, because I’m a tomboy who got one day to dress super princessy with no raised eyebrows and I wanted a perfect dress, damnit! 🙂

@BruinBeeMPH:  My FI wanted to elope also. He is not thrilled about inviting over 200 people.

@HappinessIsInDaisies:  In Dublin. Mayo sounds great. The west coast of Ireland is so beautiful, I’m sure itll be an amazing location to get married in. I don’t know if you’ve been to Ireland before, but if you haven’t do try and take a few days to see some of the countryside, its well worth it!

@BruinBeeMPH:  If it’s a smaller guest list and mostly family and/or close friends I would think they would know each other. I think it sounds intimate and fun! I do regret not doing a smaller DW but oh well. Also, with a smaller guest list you can splurge on other things and still spoil guests.

@aliciaspinnet:  Yeah, my fiance is from there. We met in Limerick 6 years ago, and we’re getting married in his hometown. 🙂 We usually fly home there once a year. And the countryside is gorgeous! We always try to get away from family for a bit and just go for a drive. I love how bright the stars are…you always forget that when you live in a city. What’s your reason for coming to Dublin from Australia? Ps. my bachelorette party (“hen night”) is in Dublin…I’d love any ideas of places to go and places to avoid, if you wanted to private message me! I dont want to take up anymore of poor BruinBee’s board. 😛
