Totally unrelated to weddings but I'm just curious what people's favorite tv shows are? and why?
My favorites are Gilmore Girls and Golden Girls. I have them on dvd and watch them everyday as I'm getting ready....or when I'm really lazy during school breaks/holidays I watch them straight through. I love the dialogue of both of them! I laugh, cry, and love them! I hope that they create a Gimore Girls movie (but know it's unlikely).
Gilmore Girls! def a fave. I also enjoy LOST, Sex and the City, GLEE, and Big Love. But Gilmore Girls is the old standby! I just watched an episode while taking a bath!
Gilmore Girls is tops, hands down.
After that, probably Bones and Sex and the City.
yeah, i'm very typical: friends, sex and the city, gossip girl, the oc, house, and BIG LOVE. sigh. love big love.
i also loooove "keeping up appearances", "are you being served", and "my family" which are old british comedies.
Gilmore Girls is the top! In addition, Bones, Friends, Star Trek Voyager, and Supernatural!
Friends! I know so cliche but I can seriously find an episode to relate to any real life moment LOL

I used to love Gray's Anatomy, but it got lame so I stopped watching it
oh I do enjoy House and Sex and in the City....just not my absolute favorite. I love lucy is great, I used to watch it as a little kid!
I'm glad lots of you like Gilmore Girls. What are your opinions of a future movie?

Sex and the City (#1 all time) - pretty much same reason as everyone else
Charmed (#2) - alyssa milano is my girl-crush! i just LOVE charmed!
Biggest Loser - just a huge fan of the show - even though (now) i'm a low-carber and a lot of it isn't what I do - i love the transformations
SeaQuest DSV - my fave as a teen as i was a HUGE jonathan brandis fan
24 - i watch this with my husband and only just got into it the past 2 years
i've got SO many shows I love! :D
Dexter is awesome, and I also love Mad Men.
Old standbys: Friends, SATC, Seinfeld, The Simpsons, Dawson's Creek lol

Dexter, House, Supernatural, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Top Chef keep us pretty busy...

I grew up watching Nick at Nite every night for years, so I love so many classics. But for stuff from the past ten years or so, DEFINITELY Big Love. God I love that show. I also really enjoy Chuck, but sometimes I find it frustrating/boring/poorly scripted. Last episode though, was a killer, best episode ever imo. I don't even know where they're going to go from there.
FRIENDS!! I never get sick of the reruns and I watch them EVERY weekday when I'm making/eating dinner!

Currently love Top Chef, Community, Big Love, 24, Park and Rec, Amazing Race, ooh and Weeds!
FI hates when people cry during Biggest Loser so I'm not keeping up as often and I quit Grey's Anatomy last season. Sad. I want to still love it.

For you Friends buffs...which episode? This is my best friends' and my favorite line of all time.
@sarahsd - my favorite episode is when Ross and Rachel get drunk in Vegas and get married, and also the one where Ross finds out about Rachel and Joey and makes dinner for them and Charlie. "I guess it's flan for three! Hey, that rhymes!"
My favorites: Friends, Buffy, Star Trek: TNG, Fresh Prince, Veronica Mars, X-Files up to season 6 and some of season 7, Twin Peaks, Gilmore Girls.
I can't pick a favorite Friends ep! That would be like picking a favorite child!! FI makes fun of me because I laugh really hard at all of the same jokes as if it's the first time I've ever heard them. He knows I've seen every episode at least 100x!
@SugarSweetPink - I do the same thing! And my guy always rolls his eyes at me. Haha!
@sarahsd: I don't remember what the name of the episode is but it was when Chandler and Monica first started dating and she was hiding in the tub while Joey was asking Chandler if he wanted chicken!
I LOVE Dexter!! I can't wait until next season! Until then, I'm catching up on House, Grey's Anatomy, and How I Met Your Mother.
My favorite show ever was Six Feet Under. Still miss it. Love Lost and Weeds, too.
Buffy and Veronica Mars. I pretty much rotate through those. I think I've seen all of Veronica Mars like 5 times.
But I watch a ton of other tv, too. Probably so much it's embarrassing.
Sex and the City - It SO reminds me of the relationship that I have with my group of friends, so I can totally relate.
Sopranos- I love Tony!
Mad about You- when I was younger I loved this show and cried at the last episode!
Friends, The OC, Sex and the City, oh and Sabrina. (judge me. haha)
on tv now:
DEXTERRRRRR, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory oh and Pawn Stars//American Pickers. I love it when my DVR is full.
Oh and Americas Next Top Model is my guilty pleasure.

I LOVE LUCY. at least for alllll time. sex and the city is pretty high up on my list too. but nothing warms my heart faster than lucy and ricky :)
