If you’re having your ceremony and reception location at different places, what are your transport arrangements?
I’m just in the beginning stages of trying to organize this and was hoping to get an idea of what others are planning/have done.
In my situation, the places that need to be traveled to are as follows:
(Bride and Groom…and bridal party?…?)
Hotel to Church (AM)
Church to Reception (Noon)
Reception to Hotel (PM)
Thanks in advance for your responses! I know this might sound like a really obvious question but I just really don’t have a clue other than people come out of a fancy car most of the time in pictures. 😛

For my wedding grooms a limo drive me and my girls. That same limo dropped me off and then went an got the guys. I so badly wanted a vintage car for my wedding. But unfortunately it wasn’t in the budget. But my wedding day was awesome anyway lol

This is the plan for mine:
Bride and bridesmaids to ceremony: driven by father of bride
Groom and groomsmen to ceremony: limo
Bridal party to reception: limo
Bridesmaids/groomsmen home from reception: being driven home by their partners who will arrive separately
Bride and groom to hotel: father of bride/taxi (haven’t decided yet)
We decided not to keep the limo until the end of the reception because it’s so expensive.

- Wedding: September 2013 - Creek club at ion, SC
This is the part of the wedding that I really dont care about at all especially as I hate limos (classic cars are cool). I gave the responsibility to FI and he was talking about an old school impala which I thought would look great in photos but he hasnt done anything to make it happen and im not pushing him. We have too many other things to do and will catch a taxi there if necessary.

I will be getting two separate limos to bring the girls and the guys to the ceremony separately. And then one bigger limo to bring us to the reception. I have no plans currently for after the reception. Everyone will be drunk and going to separate places so they’ll probably just take cabs.

This bad boy is taking us from the hotel where all the bridal party is to the venue across town:

The majority of our guest are from out of town so when they arrive I will have gifts bags and inside I will give them a detailed itinerary starting with the first day they will arrive for example Wednesday (bridal/groomsmen party) will be the first day ,Thursday, and Friday. The wedding is Saturday so they will know what time to meet in the hotel lobby to get the Coach buses to transport to the church and back to the hotel.
We are also using them for the bachelors’ day trip (driving race cars)and the Jack & Jill party that Friday night. It is a little more expensive but we dont want anyone drinking and driving or getting lost.
