I love that dress! Is it the Ariel dress?
I think that since you're going to have "bling" on your head already (your hair comb) having chandelier earrings in addition to it would look a bit much. Especially with the birdcage. I think some pearl studs would look classy and would "flow". I myself wouldn't wear a necklace since you already have that gorgeous detailing along the sweetheart neckline. Perhaps find a statement bracelet?!
But then again, I am rather minimal when it comes to jewelry... so it's really up to your personal taste! :-)
@MidnightSun: I am normally very minimal with my jewellery too, on a day to day basis I wear my engagement ring and a few simple silver bangles I inherited off my mum, I was thinking with it being my wedding I should 'go all out' but I think I agree with you, simple is best I dont want to over do it, plus I may not feel comfortable too blinged up when normally I am not. I might even buy a cheap pair of chandelier earrings and a cheap pair of studs and just try them on with the full ensemble after I have my hair trials then go from there. And yes it is the ariel :) xx

The clip is beautiful. I've just made a post about asking people to see these...this is just the kind of clip i'm trying to find!
@ticatica
I got mine from Ebay, there are 1000's on there, some amazing some not so amazing lol, I literally sat one whole afternoon and went through every single one that came up until I found 'the one', I knew what I had in mind but I just couldnt seem to get it spot on, the one I chose comes pretty close to what I wanted. I also found a website through this one, called Glitzy Secrets they have some really nice ones on, and they are reasonabely priced too. P.S how do you tag some one in a post I dont think I am doing it properly :) I am a newb
I think chandelier earrings would be beautiful! It's not too much bling, but it's a nice accent.
Thanks imageeksowhat these are the ones I have seen and really like, I think they are so pretty, but they are quite 'blingy' Ive also seen a much more vintage looking pair (cant find a pic) and i think (but maybe its just me) that they follow the flow of my dress, they seem to match the beading etc
p.s i was reading your post about flower crowns earlier and just couldnt decide which one was the best - they are all so beautiful

Hi Bees
So i've got the dress, waiting for my veil, but i am totally stuck on Jewellery. To start I thought I wanted everything really plain and simple but now I am not so sure. My (kinda) theme is a modern take on a 1940/50s hollywood glam look. My dress is fishtail/mermaid as to me that shape dress epitomises that hollywood glamour look and it has a slight sweetheart neckline - again another feature that I think shouts out 1940/50s I may be wrong but thats just what I think. My dress is a modern take and isnt vintagey, nor do I want my whole look to be too vintage - I dont want to look like im doing fancy dress and when I tried on the more vintage dresses thats how I felt - i love them but they just didnt feel right on me! I am not sure on the jewellery front whether to go with vintage inspired chandelier earrings and maybe no necklace, or whether to go more subtle and wear a simple stud and pendant set, whether to wear bracelet or not etc etc. My veil is a birdcage and I am wearing a vintage inspired hair piece which is silver with diamantes and pearls on, i'll try and get some pics...any help, ideas, suggestions much appreciated...
xx
