I was on yaz for about 2 years, took a break off birth control but now I want to start again. My problem is yaz now has so many issues popping up with it, even the lawsuit commercials are on TV. This was the only birth control that worked well with me, now I’m not sure what other one to go with. What do some of you ladies use, If you don’t mind me asking.

I use OTC (Ortho Tri-Cyclen). I’ve been on it for 4 years now, love it. No problems, and it’s actually made my periods shorter and lighter.

I stack Loestrin 24Fe and it has eliminated my periods completely = happy me.

Currently on NuvaRing, happy with it but will be getting Implanon after honeymoon.

I have used LoEstrin24Fe for two years, and I’m very happy with it. I’ve experienced almost no negative side effects, and it has really regulated my cycle and greatly reduced the length and intensity of my periods. One downside is that, depending on your insurance provider, it can be expensive. I get it at a good price through my insurance though.

I’ve been on Alesse for 5 or so years now. No issues at all! Switched to the generic version recently, still no issues!

I am on a generic version of Estrostep. No issues so far! I used to take Yaz too but switched because of insurance. I have been on this generic brand for over 2 years now with no problems!

I recently started Lo LoEstrin Fe. I’m about halfway through my second pack and so far I’m pretty happy with it. I’ve been through quite a few that really didn’t work well for me.

I have been on Yasmin for at least 5 years, but m currently in the search for something new. I’ve been reading/hearing alot of bad things about Yaz and Yasmin and my Dad has been telling me to switch for like 2 years now. I finally ran out of my supply and need to decide on something new also.

I have been on yaz and loestrin 24 before and didn’t have any issues with them (except for forgetting to take the pill). I switched to nuvaring about 3 months ago and I LOVE it! The first month was pretty rough, mood swings and spotted the entire month, but the last 2 months have been great with absolutely no issues at all

I’ve been on the Evra patch for 5+ years. I love not having to worry about taking pills every day.
