olay quench lately, though i love me some bath and body works anything....lol =)
I actually can't use B&BW - my skin is too sensitive for their fragrances or something. I get hives anytime I've used their scented lotion or bodywash for more than like 3 days running!
Such a shame too, because their scents are GREAT!
Oil of Olay Quench here as well. It moisturizes my uber dry skin... However I love Caress in the yummy scents and I think it's really comparable to Bath and body works....
I use Giovanni Dtox System body wash, and I love it, works great! Though I like it mostly because it's black hah!
I use about a million - seriously, I have about 20 bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in my shower and only two belong to my FI.
I like the Caress Exotics - I have the Japanese one that smells like sandalwood. I love B&BW - I have the coconut lime verbena and one from their true blue spa collection called Butter. It doesn't really have a smell and it's very moisturizing. I also have a St. Ives oatmeal one for when I have dry or itchy skin. I have more, but that's all I can think of right now!
I use B&BW cream body wash in the warm vanilla sugar scent ...
I use the dove for sensitive skin--I actually use the Walmart brand-but it's the same thing. My skin gets itchy if I use stuff from B&BW too.. you could look at that then.
I use the Dove moisturizing body wash too. There is a generic brand of it at every store (Target, Wal-mart, etc.) and they're all exactly the same.
This is one thing I like to switch up a lot. Right now I have Softsoap's Pomegranate Mango, and I LOVE it! (I didn't even know they made anything other than handsoap until I bought this!)
@honeybun, I was looking at that online, and wondered about it. I also had never heard that softsoap did anything besides translucent hand soap, haha. My current body wash is pomegranate sceneted and I LOVE it; how's the scent on that one? is it moisturizing? lather well?
I use Jason brand, Lavender scented bodywash. It's all organic and gentle, which is good for my uber sensative skin. I think it leaves my skin soft, and smells SOOOO good!!!!
Ivory. I usually hate the scented stuff, because it smells too strongly and is drying, and I found Ivory, and it was awesome.
Then Wal-mart stopped selling the size I used, and sold a slightly more expensive half-size.
Then the local family dollar closed, so I bought a good 6-8 month's worth, because it was cheeeeap!
I use Philosophy (you can get it at Sephora); either "Inner Grace" or "Gingerbread Man" (which I LOVE using during the holidays). The scents stay for a while, so most days I don't even use perfume.
I use Victorias Secret right now. I love the Vanilla Lacr but I also have the rose petals. They are both great.
@daydreamwanderer: It smells soooo good!! Very refreshing - you should definitely try it! And it lathers great too. I'm not sure about the moisturizing part - I've used a million different soaps and bodywashes and I've never been able to tell any difference in them as far as that goes.
I love Philosophy's shower gel. THey have a ton of great scents and it's really moisturizing.
I also use Softsoap! I have the cherry blossom scent and I love it! I also bought the coconut scrub to use when I have dry skin.
Both smell wonderful and work well :D
I buy the unscented 365 brand at Whole Foods and add essential oil for scent. It's about $4 for 32 oz. To the bottle I have now, I added tangerine oil, which is a great mood lifter in the morning.
I change all the time. Right now I have vanilla scented Olay bodywash. I use anything as long as it smells good.
olay quench made me itchy all over. i didn't realize when i bought the stuff that it has mineral oil in it, which is probably what made me itch. after i used it it felt like i had a weird film layer all over my skin. i use aveeno stress relief body wash, which has a lovely lavender scent.
i am addicted to philosophy's "classic fudge cake". it smells like warm brownies, but the scent doesn't linger on my body later clashing with my perfume. it's really moisturizing and really gentle. i have super sensitive skin and this stuff doesn't bother it one bit!
I love Caress exotics, or Tone body wash with cocoa butter. Theya re really moisturizing and they lather really well. I have issues with B&BW stuff, too, and was so excited when I found these because they have such strong yummy scents. I love pomegranate and mango scents!
@bellamargot - I don't think I could do fudgy chocolate in the morning... I'd be eating cake for breakfast every day, haha.
mmmm...that reminds me...last year my MOH got me Philosophy red velvet cake bodywash for Christmas...that stuff was so yummy!!
Oh! I've never thought of scenting my own. Thanks for the tip, arizonabride. I love grapefruit scented, but it's hard to find.
I have tons of body wash....Victorias Secret (mostly scents that contain vnailla and/or sandalwood). B&BW...various scents. I love the Caress honey and vanilla scent. I also use the dial body washes...the kind with the exfoliating beads in it.
I have two favs...
In winter I love Philosophy's Gingerbread cookie. I swear it smells so good I could eat it.
And during non-Christmasy times.. I love Victoria's Secret "Love Spell" body wash. This stuff is amazing! I can smell it all day long. Plus, the Mr. likes it too (on me, not him
.
I adore St. Ives Silk body wash. I have extremely dry and sensitive skin so I can't use just anything.
@daydream: I can't use Bath and Body Works either! Same problem with the fregrance. I'm acutally fine with The Body Shop (they use less fregrance and higher quality products) which I used to use but am currently using Philosophy which I also have no problem with and love! It is a light sent so not over powering.

Beekeeper
ladies, I'm heading back to the states this winter for a whopping seven weeks!! As far as I can tell, that's plenty long enough to justify buying all new shampoo/body wash/etc. when I get into town and saving myself the space in my suitcases.
I can't for the life of me remember some of what I used to buy in America though, and of course my Chinese brands that I've come to love won't necessarily be available.
So: What kind of body wash do you use? And why do you love it?
