@MrsRose:  The Felina bustiers are pretty good. The one Van Bien I tried on I didn’t like, but it might work differently for you.

I’m in love with my David’s Bridal Long Line Bra…im a 44DDD (5-3″/size 22 Alfred Angelo dress) and it’s uber-supportive and worth the $76. I’ve worn it on about 10 occasions while trying on dresses and just getting used to it around the house, and it hasn’t lost it’s shape or support. The boning is great and keeps everything held in where it’s supposed to be.  My fiance likes it too…(he’s weird…shapewear gets him more than the expensive frilly stuff!)

This is where I got my bra.

I tried to insert a picture, but I guess that’s not allowed! Embarassed It works perfect for me. I may need to trim the lace at the top because it sticks up a bit, but it stays put and has great support. I did listen to the tips on the site about sizing and they were right. I did notice you said plunge so this bra may not work for you, but there are lots of other options on the site. Good luck and hope this helps!

I wore a bra from Intimacy that was $$$ and a BodyMagic girdle that was also $$$ (but also magic). I’m not much help as far as price (since I definitely spent way more than you want to) but I recommend Intimacy.

I am a 40DDD/E and I SCORED a goddess bustier off ebay for $20. the best bustier out there I think. It seriously holds my chi’chi’s up! i’ve boughten other bustiers. the fantasie – omg- horror story. put it on, the “long line” rolled up above my gut and my chichi’s kinda flopped down. I also bought a corset from a corset story, but i really really like the goddess. I did buy an E the cups are a little big, but i’m happy with what it’s holding up and sucking in.

I wish this is one area I had spent money on. I’m a 38G and got frustrated with hunting and never finding one that fit. We only had 1 month to plan everything including ordering my dress and alterations so I ended up going with an old one I already had that was a little small. While most came out great, there were a few pics I coudn’t keep because I felt too busty. Of course 2 weeks after the wedding, I finally found one I liked (Wacoal convertible bra).
