We have a ceremony arch somewhat like the one in this picture. I want to purchase some fabric like the ivory fabric in the picture to decorate ours in a similar fashion. I’m pretty sure that’s not tulle, but what do people think it could be? Chiffon? Something else? Would love to hear what others have used for their arches and see a picture of it.

You can use any inexpensive fabric that you like the look of that will drape well.
I would go too the back(read sale) section of the fabric store and see what is available.
Muslin, chiffon, organza, canvas dropcloths etc

@julies1949: I was going to get some georgette chiffon but just wanted to make sure is wasn’t too sheer.

Our florist used an ivory chiffon as we wanted it to be light enough to blow and have a bit of life to it.
Here are a few photos of the front and back:

@Treejewel19: Perfect! That’s exactly what I needed to know.

I’m using poly-satin fabric from Hobby Lobby for our draping! It’s $2.99/yard regularly priced – and when you use your 40% off coupon, it’s only $1.79/yard! It’s available in a lot of colors – we are just using white.
Hope this helps!
