What kind of flowers are you using in your bouquet, centerpieces, etc.? Why? Are you using color or all white flowers?
I found mine on ebay. I won't lie. They are silk and just beautiful. The pictures don't do them justice! The lady I bought them from can do custom orders, and has reasonable prices. These are the perfect colors for a fall themed wedding! I love them!
Here is the link to the page, since it won't let me put the pictures on here, for some reason.

Amanda V! Your link won't show the pictures cause the bid has ended. Upload the images to your post instead of adding them (use the upload files from your computer!)
My mom actually made silk flower arrangements for weddings years ago so we might go that route also! I think silk flowers today look almost real! It is a great way to save money!!
It don't work? Hm. Okie dokie. I'm going to photobucket the pictures because it won't let me upload them directly to this site.
i used schwartz calla lilies for my bouquet and large white callas for the bridesmaids. my reception flowers were most baby's breath with a few callas. when you arrange bb in clusters it looks like a poof. they were beautiful and budget friendly.
I like lilies, but i heard that a lot of people are allergic to their scent. And our guestlist is 250+ so I'm trying to stay away from them unless we definitly go silk! Thanks!
I'd stay away from lilies as a centerpiece. I'm not allergic but they have a scent I term the lilie stink!
I am using Princess lassertron over on WB pro for the flower bouquets. Her stuff is great and it will be a great keepsake.
My venue vendor is providing the table flowers for a great price. She is either going to get them from her garden or pick out whatever is in season. I don't care about color.
I want to use dahlias as much as possible, I just love them. Our wedding is in early July so it will depend on the year whether they are available. Garden roses might be my backup choice. All the flowers we have will be colorful, not much white.
We're using daisies, some white, lots of colored! We're having an arbor we're standing under, and the florist is going to decorate it with daisies and gladiolas! They're my too favorite flowers by far, *and* they're cheap, so we're really happy!
Roses in my bouquet with stephanotis. My girls- just ivory roses. Centerpieces are candles to save money.
OH I forgot the Why part. Because I love roses & a classy look....and I'm a simple type of person :)
We're using TULIPS!! I love tulips. My MOH will have a white bouquet of tulips and I'll have a yellow bouquet of tulips. (Her dress is yellow.) Our centerpieces won't have flowers, they'll have floating candles (my FI designed them).
I did gerbera and traditional daisies in yellow and white. You can view all of our photos by clicking here. We bought our flowers from the flower district in downtown LA for Super Cheap! Here is a mosaic I made of our Daisy theme:
We are using all white flowers in all floral arrangements. We're using mostly seasonal spring flowers--tulips, peonies, ranunculus and mini-calla lilies. We're DIYing the bouquets and each BM is going to have a different type of flower. My bouquet will be all of them combined.
Since we're making the bouquets ourselves, I wanted something simple and elegant and all white seemed to fit the bill. I had to make sure that we had tulips, because they're my favorite flower and I didn't want roses, because they're my least favorite.
we were using white daffodils but my vendor was unable to get them at the cost we were promised
. so we are using sprat roses and ranunculus. I'm kinda bummed , but this week I decided i really want garden roses for my bouquet. We're using pinks and yellows and whites. I'm not really fond of roses at all , but it'll all work out i'm sure.
@BunnyBlue I absolutely love garden roses! I think they're gorgeous and don't look like roses at all...more like peonies
We are using all roses in the bouquets with some Israeli ruscus as filler.
My bouquet will be entirely roses in the following colors: red, pink, dark pink, burgundy, purple, yellow, green, orange, and white.
My bridesmaids will have bouquets with two of the colors in the bouquet: Burgundy & Dark Pink, Light Pink and White, Yellow and Green, and Orange and Red.
The centerpieces are each going to be one of the colors that are in the bouquet. All because of my fiance's proposal.

They are prettier in person
i'm pretty much using all white and ivory flowers. for my bouquet we are using yves piaget roses, sahara roses, gardenias, and other small white flowers for fillers. i really love the yves piaget rose because i wanted peonies, but they aren't available in october, so these are a good substitute. the girls' bouquets will be smaller versions of mine, but without gardenias. the centerpieces will be using whites, ivories, and greens from the bridal bouquet and other seasonal types that match the color scheme.
My bouquet was pale pink (blush) roses, cream roses, white mini calla lillies and white hydreanga. I didn't originally set out to do a blush and cream bouquet (nor did i originally want roses) but I wanted something that would look soft against the BM's navy dresses. I saw a picture on The Knot of a bouquet similar to what i ended up getting, and took that picture to the florist. The put in the hydreanga to make it a little fuller, and my bouquet was born!! The girls had similar bouquets with only the roses and hydreanga.
How can I shrink the size of my pictures to fit them on WB boards?
I wanted mostly red and yellow flowers with a hint red berries. I loved the final product!
I am using hydrangea. I think that they are so beautiful and I love the color of blue and purple hydrangea. The bouquets are going to be made from clay by Diane from dkdesigns.
I'm using yellow cymbidium orchids with white calaya orchids. Why? I think orchids are amazing!
@ TennisSML5, I don't know what the deal is with my computer. Good grief! That's not directed to you, I promise. Can I throw my computer? After I copy all of my wedding plans onto a disk? lol
I'm going to try one more time. If that don't work, I'll probably just have to post the link to my photobucket.
We are using all Ivory Gerbera Daisies. My bouquet is going to be huge :) I love it!! I didn't really want any extras so no greenery or babies breath or anything. I'm so excited to see the final thing!
I love the pictures people posted!!
you guys have some beautiful bouquets! Now if only I could decide! hahaha
I have no idea which flowers I will use, but definitely something involving orange! Thinking orange and ivory for BMS or orange and yellow (fall wedding).
I used burgundy and orange calla lilies that I bought online. We put them together the day before the wedding.
I am using mini calla lillies and roses for my bout, and my bms will have the star shaped flower that for some reason my brain is blanking on the name
I used yellow gerbera daisies, white stock, and bells of Ireland. My dasies were supposed to be white, but I think the yellow worked out for the best anyway. ![]()
Angee524 - I love your BM dresses! Thats the color I want to use! Where did you get them???
@Salex19 - Is that a locket on your bouquet? Where did you get it? I would like to have a locket with a pic of my dad in it. He passed away and I want a way for him to be with me all night. I've looked at the local jewelers and found nothing even vaguely attractive (YuCk!!). Any suggestions?
I am planning on using anemones for my bouquet and my girls bouquets (blush for me and white/cream for the girls), and then small centrepieces of blush roses and candles scattered on the lounge tables throughout the room.
I didn't choose specific flowers. I just said, Rainbow with no white please. And this is what I got:
I was really happy with them! When you ask for rainbow seasonal flowers you save some cash too. I didn't really care as long as they weren't roses or calla lilies. Those flowers just weren't "me."
Your photographer will thank you for having color - it's really hard to get a good shot of white flowers against a white dress.
