I would stick to neutrals.  I usually paint my fingers nude or light metallics and my toes bright colors.  I was planning on doing that for the wedding (and either doing blue toenails as my something blue or dark purple to match the bridesmaids).  I happened by fluke to be wearing dark purple toenail polish for one of my fittings and it stuck out so much and looked awful!..  I thought it wouldn’t really matter with a long gown, and it is true for pictures, but unless your dress is super poofy your guests definitely will see it as you walk and in my opinion it shouldn’t be the center of attention.  I ended up doing a blush/light pink color on my fingers (it was Strawberry smooth CND shellac- it stayed AWESOME and I’m really rough with my hands), and a light gold on my toenails (matched my light gold shoes).  It worked well.  I think a neutral blush would look lovely on toes too.  Lots of people get french manicures for weddings and I think it looks awesome, but my nails are always kept very short and I thought it might look funny.

rittenhousenewbee:  I love French tips and will be doing that, maybe a flower on my big toes. My thought is that I can paint my nails a solid color easily, if I’m getting a manicure them I’m having something done that I can’t do.
