Just curious what other people have! Mine's white gold!
All jewelery I have received from my FI has been in white gold so it really only made sense to him to get my e-ring in white gold. It comes in a matching set with a white gold wedding band that I will be adding to it in July 2010 =)
Platinum. His will likely be white gold though, since it's a bit more resistant to wear and tear.
Platinum for my ering and band! And he actually has two bands one is titanium and the other one is platinum. We wanted to just get a platinum band for him but it came with a titanium one as well.
18K White Gold, although his is 14K yellow which what he wanted.
My e-ring is platinum. I haven't decided on platinum or white gold for a wedding band. FI will probably get a white gold ring.
Is it okay to have an e-ring of one metal and a band of another? I've heard that the platinum would scratch up the white gold, but I'm curious to hear from girls who have actually done this.
@bean- i've read the same thing online. I've asked at a couple of jewelers though and they say it doesn't matter.

My e-ring is platinum, and we're having a band in the same material made to match. Fiance's band will be palladium because it's lighter weight than platinum.
Mine's platinum. I wasn't sure since it's an antique, but they checked when I had it repaired.
Mine are palladium. I'm alergic to gold and silver and the only metals I can wear are platinum, palladium, and stainless steel. The jewler told my FI that palladium will hold up a little better than platinum and it's cheaper as well! His is white gold.
My e-ring is yellow gold. FH and my wedding bands are both yellow and white gold.
My engagement ring is palladium and I love love LOVE it! Both of our bands will be palladium as well (hand made by the same jeweler who did the E-ring).

Mine is white gold. Platinum is gorgeous but it scratches so easily I chose the other...I'll ding it around I know I will.
Both my rings are white gold. I was afraid that platinum would scratch too easily and it wasn't worth the price difference for us. He has tungsten.

Both of my rings are white gold and my husbands is both white and yellow gold.
White gold. I asked him to get it rather than platinum since it's cheaper & I know I don't have a nickel allergy. My band is white gold too, we haven't bought his yet.
Platnum e-ring, Yellow Gold (9karat) wedding band. My wedding band was made from my two gransmother's wedding bands which were traditionally 9K in Ireland at that time.
Im used to wearing white gold, but hubs wanted my rings to be platinum, yet his is white gold LOL!
