Honestly, I wouldn't wear a necklace with a halter dress. I would look for great earrings and perhaps a bracelet!

I agree with OttawaBride.  I think it clutters the neckline if you add a necklace to a halter dress.  But pretty earrings and/or a bracelet will definitely work.

Agree, none.  Necklaces just don't look good with halter dresses.

What SORT of halter dress?  There are multiple styles and, honestly, without seeing it, I think you can't get an honest opinion.

My guess everyone here is thinking the type that covers from neck down and ties at the neck/back, right?

Now, I have a few halter dresses and a blouse that are halter-style with a neckline that allows for necklaces.

So, honestly, a picture of the dress would be best for a question like this....

And by style, I'm referring to the neckline/bodice.  The skirt isn't really the question here! LOL
