I have found my dress, but I am not sure what kind of necklace and earring to go with it. I am quite petite (5′-0″), so anything too big will take over me easily…Please help! (the dress looks awkward right now as it needs alteration around the bust and waist). Thank you bees!

The dress has a lot going on in the bust area so I wouldn’t do a necklace. I think drop earrings would be pretty and would not overwhelm your frame.

I agree that a necklace won’t be too pretty with your gown. It’s best to simply wear a gorgeous pair of earrings. I recommend something like this (silver or ivory is a better color):
If you really want to wear a necklace, though, it’s better to choose a simple, choker-type necklace.

First of all, you look like a fairy in your dress!Spectacular!I agree with the fellow-bees. A necklace will be overwhelming with your gown. I really like the earrings maryandbarry posted.Earrings and a bracelet would be the best choice.I would prefer pearls and small crystals rather than swarowski or diamante.

Thank you bees for your wonderful suggestions!
I have to admit that I love having a necklace, and it would suck if I can’t wear one with this dress…
Guess I will have to try to find something that is simple and not clashing with my dress.
Also, what do you bees think about the hairstyle I should go with this dress? I am clueless…
Thanks in advance!

I agree that the best thing might be to forego the neckace and focus on earring, but if you really really want one, maybe try a choker (or another really short one) so that it’s farther away from the bust embellishments. Or as you said, you could go simple, just a short neckace with a single sparkly pendant on it.
Also love the bracelet idea. I think it really added something to my ensemble.

As for hair, I think all up might look good. I prefer my hair down, but I think having it up would focus more attention on your gorgeous dress!
