Random question, I know! I wake up with headaches or sore ears (from laying on one side too long) most days, and I think it has everything to do with how I sleep. I wake up with a stiff neck too. My pillow is really thin, and I’m going to buy a new one. I was thinking about duck down pillows – I’m fairly certain that I used one when I stayed in a hotel in Hong Kong. It was really plump, but it sank down to a comfortable height. It was great!
I did have a special countoured pillow, but it wasn’t very good.
Looking for suggestions!

I work for a mattress and bedding manufacturer so I have specialty pillows. They’re all filled with shredded latex and are ridiculously comfortable.

@Deejayelle: I’ve had down pillows before and I loved them. Watch out if you have allergies though, you may sneeze like crazy.
@peasantsong: My current pillow is latex. I like it, but I think I liked my down one better. The latex one is much firmer though.
I usually pay about $100 a pillow too, in case you’re wondering.

we bought new memory foam pillows when we got a new mattress around a year and a half ago. i really couldn’t imagine sleeping on anything else. they’re called “iComfort” or something and are sold at the mattress store. i believe they cost around $100 each but they are SO worth it. they have broken in and flattened a little since we got them. still amazing though.
