Our open bar includes Smirnoff vodka, Seagram’s gin, Bacardi rum, Jose Cuervo, Jack Daniels and mixers which are sodas, orange juice, pineapple juice and cranberry juice. (Of course wine and beer also) I’m just wondering what kind of drinks could be made with these options, I thought it’d be fun to have a signature drink but I only ever drink wine or shots so I dunno what drinks we could make! Any help would be appreciated!!

And my favorite shot is a Washington Apple. SO GOOD!

I see someone already posted bay breeze, but in my opinion bay breezes are much better with rum so deffinately consider that (pinapple. cranberry, and rum) also a dirty shirley (sprite with cherry syrup and vodka) or a rum and coke.
If there is lime juice available try a sprite with extra lime, cherry syrup and jose cuervo – it is a fun casual take on a margarita and it is delicious!
my best advice is to chose one or two drinks that are you and the grooms favorite. No need to get fancy if the hubby’s go-to drink is a vodka tonic. list the signature cocktails on a sign letting people know why you chose them (ex: “grooms drink of choice” and “brides signature cocktail”) people appreciate the personal touch. If you don’t have a fav then buy a bottle of each and have a fun time mixing at home with each other. maybe you will discover a new favorite!

What about sangria? It’s just wine, OJ, and sprite!

screwdrivers [there are many ways to make these, but I make them with vodka & OJ]
captain silver sunrise – rum, pineapple, cranberry & OJ
Obviously the easy stuff like rum & coke.

thank you so much ladies! I will have to run these past fi!! I think it’ll def add a personal touch to put little signs out with frames and I think 2 options is a great idea

MrsRichard: I know I’m a bit late, but one of my favorite drinks is a Ruby Red Slipper. It contains Crown Royal, grenadine, and 7-Up – so good. 🙂

We had a crazy amount of alcohol at our wedding. My brother ended up getting the bartender to make a Malibu, vodka, orange juice, cranberry drink and named it “Quickie In the Keys”. Everyone was drinking it by the end of the night! And he wasn’t even legal yet… lol. I would have never thought to mix two liquors together but it was really good! I usually stick to wine and shots too so I was in the same lost boat as you!

@futuremrsndl: these all sound good, looks like FI and I need to go out and get some of this stuff to try out! Haha is it weird to be drinking on a Tuesday night?
@beckwife: that sounds yummy too! I usually don’t like mixed drinks but I feel like a signature drink would be fun!
Honestly I had no idea we could come up with these many drinks from my options, you bees are good 😉
