Mine is an A-line with a dropped waist, but I do secretly (and not so secretly) lust after trumpet shaped dresses!
I wore a mermaid/trumpet shaped dress. If I could do it again, I would probably have chosen the same silhouette but simpler design.
mine is trumpet and i love love love it! i always figured i'd be a-line but as soon as i slipped it on...
v neck front, deep v back, trumpet ivory satin silk.
it came in a few wks ago and i tried it on for the first time since january and i still love it : )
Mine is a ballgown.
With my body shape the mermaid or trumpet dont look good on me
dropped waist, slim fit a-line with sweetheart neckline. I lust over the sexy, dramatic ones, but alas, not my style in real life and my FI doesn't "get" fashion. I want him to like my gown too.
Big & poofy - total ballgown. I've never imagined myself getting married in anything else (and hey, how many oppurtunies does one have to wear a ball gown in their lives??)
Mine was a slim a-line... fitted at the waist (corset back) and flared a bit a the bottom with a sweetheart neckline. I think I would keep the same silhouette but maybe get a dress that's more flowy and romantic... and more poof. :)
Mine is a tea length A-line strapless. My dress is pretty and makes my waist look much more tiny than it actually is, but I wish for a more romantic, flowy, lacey dress.
I'm wearing a ballgown. I know it's not appropriate for a beach wedding, but the second I spotted that dress, I was hooked. I don't care what anyone says--it's my day and I will wear whatever I please!
ballgown. I came in wanting something sleeker, but then my childhood obsession with tulle and tutus overwhelmed me and well, I succumbed.
I love love love the look of sheath dresses -- they're so stunning in photos. But I'm a girl smitten with the new look, I guess!
Mine is A-line with scoop neck and lace cap sleeves. It sounds ugly, but it's not- swear!
Trumpet strapless satin and lace.
I really love it and I don't even consider anything else!
The only picture I have from when I bought it...
I'm in the Mrs. Bee club! Strapless a-line with a sweetheart. I swore I'd never have a strapless wedding dress, but I fell in love.
Deep V-neck in front and back with an A-line silhouette. LOVED IT!
BUT...if I could have two weddings...(and lose tons of weight) I would love to wear a Trumpet gown! So gorgeous - just not on me :(
I bought an A-line strapless gown. But if I were tall enough and had at least 4 more inches to add to my frame, I would definitely go for a trumpet gown. I've always been envious of others who have worn trumpet gowns and wish I could wear one as well.
Well when I was looking online I thought for sure that this dress was the one. It gave me butterflies.
But after I tried it on I was like "Wow that's not the dress for me." I don't have the belly for it.
But now it's narrowed down between these two:
Im in the Mrs Bee club too - strapless A Line with a sweetheart neck! Amsale Tyler to be exact. I do swoon over other shapes (mermaid and trumpet lace to be exact) but when I try them on (yes I've tried on since Ive bought my dresS) none of them give me a feeling even close to my dress. I love it

I had a strapless a-line with a slight sweetheart neckline, but that was already over 4 years ago. If I got married today, I'd probably wear a sheath or empire.
What silhouette is your dress? And do you secretly lust after other silhouettes?
