I am wearing DB style YP3344, in ivory (http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Strapless-Lace-Fit-and-Flare-Gown-with-Side-Split-YP3344). It is all over lace with beading along the bust and down the back. I was planning on a fingertip length veil so that the back of the dress is still visable through the veil. My question is, should i get a veil with lace or beading around the edge to match the dress, or should i go with a plain one so it doesn’t compete with the dress?

I love your dress. I think a veil with beading (not excessive) would work beautifully! !

I love that dress. almost got it myself! Id say a finger tip length with just a little beading on the edge would be rally pretty. or maybe something with a lace edge. check out usabride.com. thats where i got mine which mine is discontinued now but they got some really pretty ones that are 1 or 2 layers and even bird cage ones if your into those.

I think a fingertip veil with a beaded edge would be really beautiful! Lace veils are also beautiful, but it is harder to find a veil that matches well in terms of the colour and style of the lace.

Thanks everyone. I was leaning towards a veil with beading around the edge, but I’m so bad at determining what matches and what clashes that I thought I’d ask for a second opinion.
@jbbs1222: Thank you for recommending usabrides, I will be sure to check them out!

I wore that dress 🙂 I wanted a mantilla veil but decided it was just too lace-heavy for the over all look.
Here is the veil I tried on at Davids Bridal when I said yes to this dress (this is the veil that made me want SOMETHING lace-like on my veil):
This is the veil I bought. It’s Bel Aire Bridal V7057 in ivory. It matched PERFECTLY. It’s just enough beading to kind of mimic lace. Of all my bridal accessories, this was by far, my FAVORITE. I wore it ALL NIGHT.
Here’s the veil in real life, against the dress:
And here are some pro pics from my big day 🙂
Happy veil shopping! I hope this helps! This dress is so gorgeous, you can really play with your accessories. I remember seeing a fellow dress twin with a cathedral length vera wang veil with a lace edge. It was stunning!
