You should post a pic of your engagement ring so we can see what we're pairing it with....
I think a shared prong eternity band would look great with a knife-edge solitaire band. I can't post a picture from work, but I will later if no one else does. ;) And talk about bling! They can be pretty pricey, but a thin one with fewer carats would still look great!
Yes post a pic of your e-ring so we can get a better sense of what it looks like.
Ok, here's a couple pictures. Sorry that they aren't that great...I took them with my Blackberry! But hopefully this helps! Thanks a lot!
My e-ring is very similar. I really wanted to have matching wedding bands with my FH, but he was set on yellow gold, and I wanted white gold to match my e-ring. Then I showed him this picture:
These are rose gold wedding bands, and he really likes the idea. So I think that this is what we will be doing. Mine will be very thin with diamonds in rose gold, and his will be plain and wide and rose gold. I love! Even though my e-ring is white gold, I think that the thin rose gold will look really great with it.
What kind of budget are you looking at for your band? In other words, how much bling are you thinking?
PS @MissLoveBird - those are gorgeous and now I want rose gold. So wouldn't work with my skintone or my e-ring though. Sad!
Those rose gold rings are fabulous! I agree with you kittyachi!
I think I'm probably looking in the $500-$1000 range. (But my FI would probably not object if it was cheaper!) ha!
Your ring sort of looks like mine. I got a 3/4 pave-set diamond eternity band. It looks perfect :o)
I got a 5 stone band...and besides the center stones being different yours is a lot like my ring..same setting I believe. You could probably find something similar in the $1000 budget range with smaller carat weight I bet. I went a little larger with the stones on the band (in comparison to ering) because I had a hard time telling FI what I want when deciding between a solitaire or 3 stone and this is how I made up for it. Hehe. We are not married yet, but of course I took a photo of the band on my hand when we picked it up. Here is what they look like together:

omg 2010bride2bee, I think I picked out the same band and I am also getting married in 9/2010 how funny. Def. gorgeous!!
I personally like pave and channel settings...I think they provide the bling effect, but without overpowering the e-ring diamond.
These two caught my wandering eye (they're platinum I believe).
Bez Ambar ( a designer based out of Los Angeles ) makes these VERY cool knife edge rings with square cut diamonds on both edges. They are very thin and look great on top and underneath a solitare. I have a solitate with a very square thick plantinum band and tried on two of them and they look very good. Not what I ended up wanting but if you have a Bez Ambar retailer near you definately worth it to check them out. I can't find them on their website right now but I tried them on like a month ago. Good Luck!
My ring is raised like yours and I found that it didnt sit flush with smooth bands. I ended up going with a ring guard...not this exact one but you get the idea.
My ring is very, very similar to yours (the band comes up the sides of the stone though) and what seems to look best are thin (2 mm or 3mm max) eternity bands or knife edge pave bands
I think something like this might look really nice. I have a ring very similar to your and I looked at rings today in Boston. We visited Serge's. This is the site, http://sergesjewelry.com/wb/Wedding%20Bands/index.html.
I also found something else that might work. Look at the photo below.

Hi! I'm trying to figure out some ideas for a wedding band. I don't want to do just a plain one since I'd like a little more bling! =) I have a 3/4 carat, round diamond engagment ring with a knife edge band. Has anyone seen anything that they think would look good with that? Pictures would be a plus! Thanks!
