Mine was a cascade veil! Fingertip in back, about elbow length in the front!

I had a cathedral veil for the ceremony and then switched to a fingertip for the reception.

Cathedral. I adore the drama of a long veil!

I haven’t actually purchased it yet, but I think I will go with the veil I tried on with my dress which was a two tiered “elbow” length veil.

I wore a chapel veil to go with my chapel train dress though I wouldn’t have minded wearing a cathedral length veil

I had a cathedral veil but it was waaaaaaaaaaay to long, like long for a cathedral veil so I cut it. Now it is chapel length.

@McBezel:  I really wanted cathedral but it took away from the dramatic low back of my dress. I really waivered back and forth but ultimately chose fingertip. It’s very embellished with scallop edging.

I’m making my own chapel length. When I bought my dress, I tried on a fingertip veil, that felt too short for the dress, and a cathedral, that was too long to function

I wore a chapel lenght veil. It matched my train perfectly and I lived it. Anything longer would have been hard to manage in my opinion though. It’s a lot to carry around and it does catch in the wind as well so worth keeping in mind.

Floor length! It just grazes the floor. It is 72 inches long, where I believe a chapel length veil is about 90 inches.

I went with cathedral. I had an exact image in my head of what I wanted to look like and the cathedral veil was always a must. It just looks so grand and elegant in pictures.
