First of all...your dress is amazing and it looks great! Is that buttons all the way down the back?! OMG I LOVE IT!
I personally like fingertip veils best. but...this really depends on the formality of your wedding. if you are having a formal wedding..you could do the cathedral (id go with the 80). but if your wedding is informal the fingertip would be the best option.
but then again...if you have always wanted a cathedral veil...DO IT NO MATTER WHAT! seriously girl this is YOUR wedding!
Do you happen to have pics of you in your dress with a 80, 108 cathedral and/or a fingertip?
That would really help.
I'm a fingertip veil gal, but I suggest trying them all on and seeing what feels "bridal" to you :o) I know that doesn't really help much, but I swear when I put a fingertip veil on... I KNEW that was my veil :o)
@danielle--thanks! yup, the buttons go all the way down the back,it's one of my favorite things about the dress.
I guess my wedding could be considered formal--groom(smen) will be in tuxes, bridesmaids in long dresses. I did try on a cathedral length veil with the dress, and loved it, but I didn't get to try on any other length so I'm not sure if cathedral would be the best option. Here's a pic:
i would go with fingertip but thats me.
i think fingertip is just so much more bridal but it depends what feels best on you.
cathedral all the way - im doing the same thing with mine, its got the same amount of train and formal feeling and i have always wanted cathedral, so thats what im getting. and my bridesmaid dresses arent even long (its september in va, humidity abounds!!!) its what i want so its what im getting
do what you want. the cathedral looks gorgeous!!!
Cathedral veil! And maybe some decorative type lace or rhinestones to add a little bit of bling just on the bottom of the veil would look fabulous.
I love cathedral length with your dress! I used to be a no veil bride.. then a fingertip veil bride.... now I'm loving cathedral length. I say go for it! It's the only time in your life that you'll get to wear a long flowy ethereal veil.
i am so not a veil person myself (i cant decide what im doing, i keep going back and forth) but i looove that cathedral veil with your dress. The dress is gorgeous and simple, so that veil brings soo much to it. Where are you getting married?? If it is an amazing church or big, beautiful space, DEFINITELY go with the cathedral.
You are so tiny and the dress is so amazing on you, you get lost with all that tulle with the cathedral length veil.
If you have the guts to go w/a bird cage veil, that would be amazing and really pop!
If not, I would suggest a shoulder length veil in the front and finger tip in the back. That would create a modest look and show off you and dress.
Because you are so tiny, with an amazing figure, you don't want to get lost in the veil. And you really should show off that train!
What do the people who sold you the gown recommend?
Let us know what you decide.
I vote fingertip. I agree with the poster above me.... And fingertip veils are amazing especially if you get some frills to them... crystals, satin trims... etc.

Hi bees! I need some help picking out a veil for my dress. I was originally thinking a cathedral length veil, but I"m not sure whether to get one that is 80" or 108"--what do you think? Or would a fingertip length look better? I'm only going to be wearing it for the ceremony and some pictures.
The pic should give you some idea of how long the train of the dress is (although I can always shorten it).
