What length/style veil would go with my dress?

a very light cathedral veil with no edge would look gorgeous with your dress and wouldnt hide the beautiful trim at all and might actually draw more focus to the hemline. I personally love a cathedral veil with a strapless A-line 🙂

I googled your dress to see if I could find pictures with veils. I did find one on “Preloved” with a bride wearing a long veil. I think the edge of your dress is so beautiful that maybe you shouldn’t cover it up. I guess it all depends on what you’ve been imagining. If you want a long veil, go at least a foot longer than your dress and simple so the veil doesn’t compete. Try on different lengths and see which one works best.

Consider an elbow length veil!  I think you’re right about a longer veil covering up the beautiful detail on the train.  Elbow length hits at a very flattering point, and because it won’t be weighed down by  tons of material, should add just enough definition to the top half of your body that it’ll counterbalance the A-line shape of the dress.  If you want to go a bit longer, fingertip veils are a great length too.

@LovelyLee:  It’s really up to you!  If you go that route, your dress would look great with either.  You could probably even find a veil with some lace or detail around the edging that would mirror or compliment the train on your dress.

I would go fingertip and raw-edge!

I vote fingertip! And I second the raw edge. The lace in your train is gorgeous!

@LovelyLee:  They’re not very common out there it seems but I love waltz/ballet length veils.  Maybe something like this?

@LovelyLee:  Ooo I didn’t see you were an AZ bride, what part of AZ?

I think, since your skirt is kind of plain until the hem, a fingertip would be perfect! With lace trim to match your dress. 🙂
