Many brides are choosing strapless gowns for their big day. This can pose a real undergarment challenge!  As a boutique owner, I would love to hear from "real brides" about what worked best for them...gave the best support, comfort level, etc.  Bustier, adhesive, strapless, or Longline bra...What was your day of Lingerie solution? Your answer would be much appreciated, as I would LOVE to provide the best for all the Brides in our area!

I had nothing on underneath my dress.  There was built in boning and cups already in my dress.

Adhesive bra for me.  Haven't had the wedding yet, but it felt pretty good in my dress with a tight bodice.

Not married yet, but so far the longline bra is working out best.

I'm fairly small-chested, so I'm getting away with having the seamstress sewing in some cups, and I'm going bra-less.  I'm really excited about that option actually, b/c then I don't have to worry at all about my bra showing, or any painful underwire sticking into me.

I had my seamstress sew cups into my dress.  It's not the wedding day yet, but I feel comfortable knowing that I don't have to worry about a bra on that day!

I'm looking for a longline bra/ bustier, but I want advice on what is the most comfortable without too much padding (I'm a 34C and my breasteses are big enough already)! Anyone have great success with certain bustiers/bras? any to avoid?

I ordered a long-line bustier from Ebay - Felina brand but half the price.  It's not 100% the most comfortable thing ever, but it smooths things out and holds things up.

My dress isn't strapless, but it has a plunging front and low back, and NOTHING works with it.

I will probably end up wearing a backless bodysuit thing.  It's uncomfortable, but I don't know what else to do.

my dress has built in boning and a built in corset. So I'm wearing the crinoline (which goes up past my waist, but not bra.

It really depends on your dress, for what you need.

I don't plan on wearing any bra uner mine - it is sort of build into the dress.

My dress wasn't strappless either, but I wore only chicken cutletts and spanks that came up to my braline.  On top of that I wore my crinny - since it was January I wasn't concerned with sweat, but the spanks did help my thighs from chafing!

Wow! Great info from all of you girls...surprised to see so many of you choosing the Longline Bra, as we always just assume girls want a Bustier! THANKS

My dress had cups sewn in, but I found that they didn't do much for lift and cleavage, so I wore an Ultralite NuBra also.  Laughing
