I'm wearing a stila lip gloss and a bronze colored blush from Sephora - have you already tried going someplace to pick something out?
oh yeah, I've been to sephora, dillards,, macys, neimans....my pattern has been buy, return, buy more, return again...it's making me crazy! Makeup shouldn't be this difficult!!
I have worn the same lipstick forever, so I don't really have any horror stories. There was a dark time a few years back when a beauty consultant convinced me that plum blush was what looked best on me. *shudder*
I wore Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick as my stain with an Estee Lauder lipstick over it. For blush I wore MAC Mineralize blush in Lovejoy.
@soonerpsych: is Lovejoy shimmery? I have some pretty MAC blushes (beauty powders) but they have quite a bit of shimmer, so I'm iffy on how they will photograph? What color Liquid Lip did you wear?
@soon2beMrsGP: The Lovejoy does have some shimmer to it, but it worked with my complexion ok. I was in the MAC store a couple days ago and it seemed like they had several matte blushes in, so you might check if you're not wanting something shimmery. I used the Grand Garnet stain and the lipstick was Cafe Latte.
