Not nearly as many as you!
Bon Appetit and Glamour are it for now, but I'm itching to take out subscriptions to Gourmet and Cook's Illustrated as well. Can you tell I love food? ![]()
None! I'm a total magazine hoarder when I have them, so it's better for me not to subscribe because I'll end up with huge piles of magazines that I can't throw away because I "totally need to keep that article!"
I go to the library for my MS Weddings fix. ^_^
I usually find big deals for subscriptions on magazinepricesearch.com, or get discounts/free subs when I order stuff through Amazon. I need to read on the toilet.
Sadly, none. But if I were to get any subscriptions, they would be: Real Simple, Martha Stewart & Craft Magazine.
I subscribe to:
Home/Lifestyle: Martha Stewart Living
Weddings: Brides, Martha Stewart Weddings, Modern Bride, Elegant Bride
Stlye: InStyle
I like to flip through them during my morning commute. I tend to bu ya lot too, which isn't very cost effective!
Bon Appetit and Cook's Illustrated! I like my recipes expensive and complicated, apparently.
I'm down to just MS Living, Real Simple and ReadyMade, now that (sadly) Domino, Blueprint and Craft are gone. My impulse newsstand purchases lately have been exclusively MS Weddings, Brides and Modern Bride. ;o)
FI subscribes to Runner's World, National Geographic, Nat'l Geographic Adventure, and ESPN. (I love that we can share these!)
I subscribe to Money and Cooking Light. But, the only magazines that are getting read lately are wedding related (and US Weekly, which I buy when I have no will power).
I subscribe to Country Living and Glamour (thanks Miss Ballet Flat!)
I buy In Style and as soon as I start working again, I'm going to subscribe to it. I'm looking to subscribe to some cooking magazines too. But ones that have simple, easy recipes!
I subscribe to Real Simple and House Beautiful. I buy MS Living every so often.
A lot of my mag subs have lapsed, but I'm still getting MS Weddings =). I used to also get Real Simple, Food and Wine, and Instyle!
I don't subscribe anymore, but I have a serious magazine vice. I have to resist buying them! Furthermore, I judge magazines by the cover (bad I know) but I won't buy a magazine if it has a celebrity I don't care for the cover, lol.
I WOULD/SHOULD subscribe to: EveryDay with Rachael Ray, InStyle, Glamour, Marie Claire and various others
Oh wait! I do get the Kraft Foods Magazines (hey, its free and sometimes they have clever recipes!) FI gets Game Informer (*rolling eyes, stupid PS3)
I do it the baaaad way. I pick up what I want and it changes like the wind..as Mrs. Bee does, I am a lavatory book conoisseur!
My recent magazine whims:
InStyle
InStyle Weddings
Inside Weddings (my recent fave)
Southern Weddings
Southern Living* an old favorite!
Carribbean mag
Conde Nast Traveler
Budget Travel (I compare the 3 travel magazines)
I don't subscribe to any, but if I did my favorite is Reader's Digest. The sappy tales of heroism always make me so happy!
i'm subscribed to vogue and thinking of adding harpers and martha stewart to the list. i wish i had more time to read them!
Most of my subscriptions are to fitness magazines - Women's Health, Shape, Fitness, and Self. I also have a subscription to Better Homes and Gardens, and I would love more subscriptions to other "home" related magazines and also the Real Simple magazine.
Somehow, however, I started getting a lot of subscriptions I didn't pay for - I think mostly from buying stuff on Amazon. I now get Working Mother (I'm not a mom), Glamour, InStyle, Lucky, Elle, and Vogue. I don't like any of these magazines, so the second I get them, they go on the "free" table in my apartment and some lucky girl, or girls, or heck, guys, get them instead.
I'm not subscribed to any right now, but I've been buying so many lately (AKA wasting so much money!) that I plan to just get subscriptions soon.
When I do, they'll be Rolling Stone, Esquire, Time, possibly Spin or Blender. I don't read Cosmo/Glamour or the like anymore; they just make me feel unattractive.
FI subscribes to The Economist and The Atlantic, both of which I usually end up reading too.

We've talked plenty about blogs and movies and tv shows, so let's talk about magazines!
I'm subbed to the following:
Home: Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Martha Stewart Living, Real Simple
Weddings: Martha Stewart Weddings
Fashion: In Style, Glamour (after Miss Ballet Flat's recent coupon!)
Gossip: US Weekly (it was free from amazon but I admit that I totally LOVE it)
Business/Lifestyle: New York Magazine, New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Inc., Harper's, Atlantic Weekly, Newsweek, Conde Nast Portfolio, Esquire (All the substantive mags are Mr. Bee's
)
What magazines do you and your SO sub to? Which are your favorites?
