I cry when I see the ASPCA commercials with all the sad abused animals.
We're watching that too. He did a good job. Love him.
I"m an emotional kind of girl (sometimes to a fault) so a silly hallmark commercial can get me going. It just depends on what it is.
In SATC movie, I get choked up at the scene where they are all in Mexico on the 'honeymoon' and Carrie is in bed. And each friend, separately comes in to check on her and then Samantha feeds her...it just makes me think of my friends and the bonds that tie us.
I am super emotional. I cry a lot.
@steph - This holiday season I got choked up at the Hallmark commercial where the girl is trying to give her mom a card and her mom was super busy, then at the end she says "we couldn't have made it through this year without you mom". Ah. So true.
The Hallmark ads used to get me every time. But lately, has anybody watched "UP"? I plugged it in on my laptop on a ferry for my little cousin, and the whole opening montage got me.
I know, the simplest thing can make my eyes well up. I'm also on board with @MissAsB with the ASPCA commercials. I have to turn the channel. I just can't handle them.
I cry when I hear the song that I am walking down the aisle to. I think this time has been so stressful, exciting, happy, overwhelming, sad, perfect ... its just a completion of so many powerful emotions.
@Sapphire - Yes! Up! I couldn't even watch it on a flight home because I started getting choked up and I didn't want people to think I was being tortured by the person next to me (a la the movie Red Eye).
Really good singing gets me choked up. Someone with a really amazing voice - I guess because I hear a lot of singers at work so hearing someone with a fantastic voice is really something special.
Movies and books ALWAYS make me cry.
The song my FI used in his proposal ("our" song now.)
Goodbyes.
Puppies in animal shelters.
And lots, lots more...
OMG, that ASPCA commercial with Sarah McLaughlin in the background gets me every time. In fact, I turn it off because I can't watch it without sobbing like a baby. I often cry at movies or TV shows. I also cry at funerals, no matter who the person is. I've gone to funerals for people I've never met and cried. "Amazing Grace" played on bagpipes or the Catholic hymn "On Eagles Wings" pretty much wreck me. In fact, I was shocked that I didn't cry at all on my wedding day, beacuse I can tear up from just about anything.
When I read the title I said (out loud because I am a loser)... "UGH EVERYTHING"
and seriously it is not a lie.
Commercials, songs, EVERY movie, the majority of the SATC episodes, lots of TV shows for a matter of fact, I can't even watch SPCA commercials, the news, anything wedding related, the national athem (doesn't matter what country's either - especial during olympic medal ceremonies) and nothing - I can just be looking out the window and I will cry.
I realized while writing this how extremely emotional I actually am! :-S
... I cry at everything. Seriously. Hallmark commercials, greeting cards, whatever. My coworkers are constantly making fun of me cause I just cannot. keep it. together. Mr. KM just rolls his eyes at this point.
Oh geez...not everything, but I definitely am much more emotional now than I used to be. Anything to do with puppies (mind you every dog regardless of age is a puppy to me!) tho usually gets to me. FI and I were watching Dog Whisperer one night where Ceasar was helping to rehab puppy mill puppies. He had to turn it off because I was so emotional
Better Question: What DOESN'T make me cry?
I hate goodbyes, its all I can do not to cry. I cried when I quit my last job in Washington on a construction site and moved back to the midwest and they were just my co workers lol. But last night I was watching Dogtown or something like that and it was about dog fighting and these 2 dogs started going at it and people were trying to pull like 5 dogs off of this one dog and it was just horrible to me and I got all choked up. I have such a soft spot for animals and old people
That ASPCA ad is brutal... I have to change the channel.
I haven't cried since 1997! But I'm a guy...
Some days everything makes me cry and some days nothing makes me cry. But those ASPCA commercials are bad-I either change the channel or mute the sound!
You know what makes me absolutely BAWL? Like, gasping, heaving, choking SOBS? Biggest Loser. Every time. I was watching it in my dining room with headphones on while I was working something and Mr. KM was in the living room and was visibily alarmed when he came in to check on me cause I was crying so hard.

Not like sad stuff... but what things make you tear up?
I start to get choked up and always shed at least one tear every time i hear the national anthem. Seriously. FI and I were just watching the winter classic hockey game and James Taylor sang the star spangled banner and the next thing I know i have a tear running down my face and FI is staring at me like I'm crazy. In person, on tv, the anthem gets me - i have no explanation.
My sister has cried every time she hears Happy Birthday for as long as anyone can remember.
I also get choked up in the scene in the final season of SATC when Carrie yells at Big on the street, but I guess that's another post.
