At my office maybe only 15% of women wear makeup (maybe another 5% just wear mascara). I feel very naked at the office without any makeup on (I’m very blotchy and shiny, especially in the morning) but lately I’ve started feeling a little over-done. Think I need to nix the blush, or something??
What makeup do you wear to work (esp. in an office?)?

I usually just wear mascara/lipstick (hate gloss lol) on a day to day basis. I don’t like putting on face stuff unless its a special occasion.

I keep it fairly simple for day to day, but I wear a good amount of mascara to play up my eyes.

There’s no option for none 🙂 I usually only wear makeup if I have a big meeting or if I am going out after work.

I wear a full-on face, and have since…..jr high? So I feel totally naked without it.
I wear to work:
Stila tinted moisturizer and Sila concealer (just for under the eyes)
Eyebrow pencil (My eyebrows are blonde and basically non-existant)
a little blush
MAC – shimmery nude eyeshadow
Urban Decay black eyeliner
It takes me between 5-10 minutes to do it all, so I think it’s ok. 🙂

Mascara, bronzer and chapstick or lip gloss, but thats all I wear on a regular basis office or not unless its a special occasion or I just feel like dressing up on a weekend…..I know there are some girls in my office that wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis and if thats how youre comfortabe and makes you feel good keep doing it, I dont look at these girls any different or anything. I mean if you start getting into multicolour eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush and the whole nine yards it can be over the top for the office but I wouldnt sweat the little things focus on more important things :o)

Just mascara. Eyeliner if I’m feeling fancy.

I grew up with a very southern mother who wore a full face of make up and had her hair done just to walk to the mailbox! Okay, maybe she’s not that bad but there’s absolutely no way she’d go anywhere without at least an hour in front of the mirror.
So for as long as I remember wearing make up, I remember not going anywhere without it. I’m not as bad as her, though. I have dry skin so I wear tinted moisturizer rather than foundation but I always wear at least eye liner, mascara (on curled eye lashes), concelear, blush, and a few swipes with a brow pencil. A “full face” would include primer, hilighter, eye shadow, and bronzer in addition to the basics.

I added and option for None. Sorry I missed it the first time!!

@ItsPronounced_ABear: LOL, no problem. Thanks for adding it 🙂
It is interesting to see what is most commonly used.

At least I’m not spending too much time on it. Usually my make up job only takes like 8 minutes. Lol. I can’t understand spending an hour on make up unless I’m purposefully playing around with colors at home, or maybe really laying it on thick for a fancy event (and even then, maybe only like 35-40 minutes).

Foundation, pencil eye liner, mascara, blush. Looks nice but not too much. I only wear eye shadow for special occasions or just for fun sometimes on the weekends (like this past weekend we did a lot of wedding stuff, so I wore black gel liner and a light, shimmery eye shadow). I hardly ever wear lip stuff, and when I do it’s either clear (like Carmex) or verrrrrry subtle. I have naturally very pigmented lips, so most color looks weird on me.
