My fiance and I decided to do Michael’s invites that we printed ourselves to save a little bit of money. Well, today we decided to do a trial run of it. When we were typing everything up I was so focused on the font, that the date and place were spelled right and the wording that I didn’t look at the most obvious thing to look at…. OUR NAMES! My fiance was typing everything quickly and he accidentally misspelled my middle name! My middle name is Kristin and he spelled it KristEn instead…. not a huge mistake but if it wasn’t caught it would be something my family would absolutely notice. I had a good laugh at myself for missing something so obvious while worrying about all the other little things on the invite, and was very happy I noticed before we started mass printing.
Also, I forgot to put an area on the RSVPs for people to indicate if they were a vegetarian or not. Simple fixes thanks.
So, what little mistakes did you guys make?

@TKG83: We spelled my Dad’s formal name wrong on the return envelopes. Oops! He never goes by it, but his name is Jesse and they typed it “Jessee”. Mom and I never noticed…unfortunately he did. No one else did that we know of!

My mistake was not one I could fix because I didn’t realize it until my wedding day! Despite being pretty organized I messed up the hair and makeup schedule and ended up not being able to have my Mom help me into my dress for those “getting ready” photos. My hair and makeup artists came to the suite where everyone was getting ready. I made up schedule with time each girl would be in hair and makeup, that way everyone knew where to be. Since BM’s needed to be ready earlier for Bridal Party photos, (moms didn’t want to go around for Bridal Party photos) I figured it would be best to have my Mom and Mother-In-Law go last. family portraits were going to be shot at venue after we returned from Bridal Party photos. Well, I never thought about fact that my MOM was going to be be helping me into my dress, which means photographed! No one wants photos of your mom in jeans and a t-shirt, I wanted the beautiful portraits with her dressed and helping me. Photographer, MUA, hair stylist and DOC all missed my error.
