our wedding anniversary will be in september but our first date was in january. it was freeeeezing that day, and the day didn't start out as a date so i was in a very uncute (but warm) outfit. every year we bundle up and get a drink at the bar where we had our first kiss, and i think we will continue that tradition even after we're married. just a silly fun way to pay homage to the day when we finally admitted to ourselves that we were more than just coworkers :)
ours is October, only 5 more weeks until the big day! we actually will be dating for 12 years on October 5th.
We started dating in June, but got married in October. So that's our anniversary, exactly one month from today already!!!
Ours will be October, YAY its coming up and I am so incredibly excited. Does the anniversary month mean anything? Is there a study on them or anything you know of?
@hisbunny: I know right, that would be so fun - on second thought maybe it wouldn't be so fun, haahaahaa Between our family and friends we are surrounded by 7 couples that married in October. Not gonna lie, our choosing October was influenced by that fact. Kinda silly now thinking about it 
@jackie-o: There is some folklore / superstition associated with each month ..... good thing I'm not superstitious as it doesn't bode so well for people married in July like me!
JANUARY: Marry when the year is new, he will be loving, kind and true.
FEBRUARY: When February birds do mate, you wed nor dread your fate.
MARCH: If you wed when March winds blow, joy and sorrow both you will know.
APRIL: Marry in April if you can, joy for maiden and for man.
MAY: Marry in the month of May, you will surely rue the day.

SEPTEMBER: Marry in Septembers shrine so that your life is rich and fine.
OCTOBER: If in October you do marry, love will come but riches tarry.
NOVEMBER: If you wed in bleak November, only joys will come, remember.
DECEMBER: When December snows fall fast, marry, and your love will last.

@jackie-o: Haha! Yeah - our dating anniversary is in November so maybe the good vibes of November can counteract the not so grand prediction for the actual July wedding anniversary!
Our dating anniversary is September 4th. But our wedding anniversary will be August 24th. :)
We met in March 6 years ago. I moved out to Colorado 2 years ago in March and that is when we started dating. Now we are getting married in March. It is just a good month for us :)
Our dating anniversary is in Jan, our wedding anniversary is in Oct. Can't believe its almost been a year!!!
It's on July 8th but he thinks it's the 7th. I told him no it's the 8th because you asked me to be your g/f after 12:00 a.m. so technically it's the next day thus making it the 8th.
