Good question.  I guess that’s what you’d have to put down.  That would drive me nuts lol.  I’d much rather know their name!

I agree. It’s easier to put “Mike Smith’s guest” than call everyone and ask who they are bringing…

If you only have to call a few people, I would just call to make it more personal.

I like the text “Guest of Mike Smith” or “Mr. Smith’s Guest” if you are having a formal wedding.

I like “Guest of…” just in case they change their date at the last minute you wont have the stress of having to re-do the escort cards.  I was going to do this even for +1s who I wasn’t 110% sure of their names or if there was any possibility someone else might be coming in their place.  It might be a little unpersonal for a few people but I’m going that route rather than having Mr. Joe Schmo when it is actually Jim Schmo or they brought Bob Jones instead!

Just do “Ms. Michelle Smith and Guest”
