iarebridezilla:  great idea for a thread! I have the black bean chocolate cake recipe pinned on pinterest but haven’t gotten around to trying it. Now I’m going to have to 🙂

I did try Supersleuth’s oil ring cleaning technique, and it worked well, but seemed ‘wasteful’ to me to use the amount of soap needed to immerse my ring, so I only tried it once. That, and I got an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner soon after that, and I enjoy using my new gadget.

I have tried the oil facial cleansing method which works really well for me (I have pretty oily skin). I can feel the little sebum plugs coming out of my pores, which I think is cool (but maybe TMI for others, sorry)

I’m sure there are plenty of others but those are the ones that come to mind right away.

I started a diet plan called BistroMD. I started yesterday and lost a pound so far. The food is kind of gross though, and I have to add in fruit or I’d be starving.

Black bean chocolate cake? I’m intrigued. It’s on my to try list (next to avocado cheesecake). I was going to mention oil pulling but I only did that for a day or two. Also havent tried the super sleuth cleaning method 😛

Overjoyed:  I tried the oil pulling too! Once. Even a few minutes seemed like forever, let alone 20 minutes like some sites recommend.

iarebridezilla:  Sounds interesting….

Ha, spinoff idea for your thread, what new words/concepts have you learned from the bee? As well as now knowing what oil pulling is, I’ve had to look up “coozie” from a favours thread. And that’s just this evening, I’m sure there have been many more. Cultural difference or my ignorance? I don’t know…

iarebridezilla:  I learned anti-aging tricks. One Bee (I think her name was MrsMyrtleBeach) told me about the ROC system that she uses for anti-aging. I tried it as well and was impressed. The only issue was that I started getting discolorations on my cheeks when I used it while tanning (yes, I know that tanning defeats anti-aging regimens, but I just like having a glow, lol).

I also found out about the FitBit, and it’s on the list as my next toy to get.

I was given that final prod to buy the Naked 2 and Naked 3 palettes per the beauty reviews on here. 🙂

LaPetiote:  Neither, just the bee :P. I didn’t know what they (or moissanite or asha) among other things were until joining here.

atreyu547:  Oh yeah, the ring thing. That’s a whole other language!
