Hello!

So my fiance and I have been egaged for a year and three months. And our wedding isn't until October 2010, a year a five months away. When we set the date I was totally down with a long engagment because I wanted lots of time to plan and save and because of other stuff going on in our lives.

I have booked the church, reception, dj, and photographer; all of our major vendors. I have also bought my dress. So... Now what? I feel like I can't start buying the ribbon and stuff we need for our center pieces (which have also already been decided on) or order flowers until I get my girls to try on and decide on dresses. I don't want to buy that stuff and then find out I can't get the color dresses that I want....

I desperately want to be working on my wedding, but with over a year until the big day, what can I be working on???

Suggestions please!!!

I'm getting married in September 2010 and I have the Church, Reception venue, Photographer all booked. I'm holding off on florist since I'm not having a lot of flowers. We'd like a band but have a DJ in mind if we can't find the right band.

In the meantime, I'm brainstorming and making notes of things I like. I have an idea for oru save the dates (they are DIY) and since we have a lot of guests coming from OOT we will be sending them about 10 months out. We also have settled on our favors, and just shopping around for best prices. As far as invites go, I'm collecting samples from printers.

i'm really enjoying this time in blog reading and organizing!
