I voted “am I dreaming”. lol  Darling Husband is very sarcastic and funny so when he want to be sweet and romantic, he gets really sappy.  I love it!

Darling Husband embarassed me with this but he had a guys night a month or so ago with a coworker of mine and his friend. The three met at a bar before heading to a sporting event, and they each had a few drinks. After a few beers, Darling Husband then starts telling everyone what a great and ” perfect” wife that he has , how he married out of his league and how “smokin hot” she is ( his words )… he even showed the bartender and people sitting around my picture.

He didn’t even tell me this,  my co-worker told me the next day lol!  I was so embarassed,  but it was weirdly sweet because he isn’t a very overly complimentary type. He keeps the mushy stuff to a minimum.  Now it is a joke between us,  but at the time I was pretty mortified that my co-worker witnessed that!

He always says he’d be lost without me, that I’m the best thing that ever happened to him. He’s always telling people at work that I’m the most talented woman he’s ever been with & that I’m the best mom ♥

My SO works out of town two weeks a month at and oil and gas camp full of men. He has shown all the guys pictures of me and they can’t get over how hot his girl is and they think he is lying about me being his woman. Finally one time I was able to pick him up at the airport when he came home and he was very excited for his work buddies to meet his “gorgeous woman” in person.

He was texting my Mom over the holidays telling her how much he loved me, what a wonderful and good person I am and how he could not imagine life without me. She showed me the texts and I was on cloud nine. Of course he tells me this stuff himself but it is always special when you find out that he is saying it to others too.

He also told me once that me coming into his life was like a teardrop from God. That made me cry a little…in a good way.

Mr. 99 has been through a lot since we got married, and he tells people that I’m his hero, his rock, his wonder woman and that he’s never met a person in his life, as tough and determined as I am…and that the fact that out of all of the men on this Earth, I picked him…makes him feel 10 feet tall.

My Fiance is definitely not the type to say mushy things to me. In fact, I can only really remember one specific time that he said anything like that. I asked him how he felt when we were together and he said “Melty.” Of course he calls me beautiful, but he doesn’t really say I’m the love of his life, he would be nothing without me, etc etc (and that’s ok with me!). He’s just not very good at expressing his feelings. It’s really all in the way he looks and acts that makes it clear.

I remember once one of our mutual friends (who he hangs out with often) said that whenever I’m mentioned, even if indirectly, FI’s face just lights up and he instantly perks up. That pretty much made my day.

Also, I notice that when he looks at me, it’s a look of pure adoration. Sometimes I’ll catch him looking at me, just grinning like an idiot. And recently, we were taking a walk with his parents and it was particularly cold (my circulation isn’t the best, which didn’t help), he grabbed my hand and without saying anything, started rubbing my fingers until they warmed up.

So even though he doesn’t say a whole lot, it’s very obvious to me that he loves me 🙂

FI is very affectionate and tells me he loves me every day and how crazy he is about me. 🙂 I remember being at a holiday gathering and one of his relatives saying that his dad had said to them that “FI is really happy” with me, and others have noted this too, through pics on FB (one of his oldest friends said he’s never seen Fiance smile so much, it “must be that girl of yours”) and another said he’s thrilled to see Fiance finally with someone who truly makes him happy.  I think those are very ringing endorsements! <3
